Follow the river Geul and you’ll automatically end up in Schin op Geul, an idyllic village just a few kilometers from the campsite. Here, a network of walking and cycling routes begins, winding through the typical Limburg hill landscape. Among orchards, half-timbered houses, and rolling fields, you’ll experience real outdoor life. Visit the little station of the Miljoenenlijntje, where nostalgic steam trains take you back in time. In Wyck, on the other side of the Meuse, you'll find trendy coffee shops and artisan stores. Maastricht is not only a city for art and culture lovers, but also for foodies: from local products at the market to refined restaurants. Ingendael Nature Reserve & Houthem

From the park, you can walk straight into the Ingendael nature reserve. Between flower-filled meadows and flowing streams, Galloway cattle graze in peace. You pass by chapels and old farmhouses, and you'll naturally arrive in Houthem: a picturesque village that features, among other things, the monastery of Sint Gerlach. This green area offers a beautiful mix of nature and heritage, all within walking distance of your accommodation.

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful campground in our RV.
Even though we live only half an hour away, we really felt like we were on vacation, partly because of the beautiful surroundings. Everything is well maintained, from the restrooms to the recycling center, the restaurant, and the campsites.
    We’ll definitely be back.

First of all, it has to be said that the campsite is currently being renovated. And what you can already see promises to be a beautiful campsite. We stayed here for just one night in the low season to take a break. Overall, everything was perfectly fine, we knew what we were getting into - the campsite is only partially open. A brand new giant climbing frame with various slides, bridges etc. and a bouncy cushion were already usable, as was the indoor playground. The motorhome pitches were open and we were allowed to park there with trailers. In the end, everything would have been fine if it hadn't been for the horrendous price and the distance to the sanitary building. To make matters worse, the nearest sanitary building was not open, but one further away. That might have been acceptable because it was announced that not all sanitary buildings were open. But this night cost us €80! But it was worth 40 euros at best. We made a friendly remark at check-out, but in principle we didn't get a decent response, let alone any concession.
