Located between Meerssen and the Geul, this area consists mainly of low-lying wetlands. This region is suitable for beautiful walks among the greenery. Brasserie Bie de Groeve offers delicious food on a pleasant terrace. Points of attention are the limited sanitary facilities that fall short during busy periods, the high prices relative to the absence of a swimming pool, and the audible noise from the nearby motorway.

    A really nice campground! This was the first time we’d booked a vacation at a campground, and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

    The new restroom facilities are currently under construction. I must say, though, that the old facilities still work perfectly and are clean.

    We stayed in a villa tent. We really … liked it, and it had all the amenities we needed. One small improvement would be a coat rack or a few hooks on the wall, since there are currently few options for hanging clothes.

    Additionally, a lockable door or tent flap would be nice. Currently, the vilatent for 2 to 4 people cannot be locked. A lock that can be attached to the floor or another fixed point, for example, would be a good solution and would give guests a little more peace of mind when they leave the tent.

    All in all, we had a wonderful vacation and would definitely come back here again!

    Een erg fijne camping! Het was voor ons de eerste keer dat we een vakantie op een camping hadden geboekt en we hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

    Het nieuwe sanitair is momenteel in aanbouw. Wel moet ik zeggen dat het oude sanitair nog steeds uitstekend functioneert en netjes is.

    Zelf verbleven wij in een vilatent. Deze beviel uitstekend en was van alle gemakken voorzien. Een klein verbeterpunt zou een kapstok of enkele haken aan de wand zijn, aangezien er nu weinig mogelijkheden zijn om kleding op te hangen.

    Daarnaast zou een afsluitbare deur/tentdoek fijn zijn. Bij de vilatent voor 2 tot 4 personen kan de tent momenteel niet op slot. Een slot dat bijvoorbeeld aan de vloer of een ander vast punt bevestigd kan worden, zou hiervoor een goede oplossing zijn en geeft gasten wat meer zekerheid wanneer zij de tent verlaten.

    Al met al hebben wij een erg fijne vakantie gehad en zouden we hier zeker nog eens terugkomen!

    De app om toegang te krijgen via het kenteken is niet beschikbaar op een Android telefoon. Maar is wel door te geven via de receptie.

    Geen kamer maar een zeer ruime flex plek met een mooi kunstgras gedeelte onder de voortent of luifel.
    Vriendelijk en ter zake kundige receptie;
    Mooie ligging, Maastricht 10km
    en Valkenburg 5
    Wandel en fiets routes
    Schoon sanitair.Nieuw in aanbouw.
    Veel faciliteiten voor kinderen.

    Ideal for cycling or hiking or those who prefer to visit a city, the location is top! Valkenburg also super nice to visit and who likes to enjoy at the campsite itself can enjoy in the brasserie where we have eaten well and we were kindly served ... The grandchildren visited for a day and also for them certainly a top campsite with playground … inside or outside / gocarts / animals / water features and so.... It was our 2nd time and definitely not the last.... 😇

    Ideaal om te fietsen of te wandelen of wie liever een stad bezoekt is de ligging top! Valkenburg ook supergezellig om te bezoeken en wie graag geniet op de camping zelf kan genieten in de brasserie waar we lekker gegeten hebben en werden we vriendelijk bediend...
    De kleinkinderen zijn een dagje op bezoek geweest en ook voor hun zeker een topcamping met speeltuin binnen of buiten/ gocarts / diertjes / waterpartijen enzo....
    Het was onze 5de keer en zeker niet de laatste keer.... 😇
