With a private bathroom, cozy beds, a wood stove and a generous terrace with garden furniture and plancha, this is truly a vacation paradise! The tent, with a surface area of 25 m², offers absolute comfort under the stars.

The common area has a kitchenette with two-burner stove, refrigerator, storage shelves and a dining area with wood-burning stove. The bathroom with shower, sink and toilet is accessible through the main bedroom. In the sleeping area you will find a room for the parents with a double bed and a room for the children with three single beds.

Outside, a spacious wooden terrace with comfortable garden furniture, a bistro table, parasol, folding chairs and a plancha awaits you for delicious meals al fresco.

    We booked a one-night stay because we had to attend a concert at the open-air theater in Valkenburg. Going home that late just wasn’t an option. This campground is part of Huttopia, a chain we’re already familiar with from their campground near Versailles. And you’ll find the same level of comfort here. In short: just great. The receptionist welcomed us; she already had an idea who we were. She apologized for her limited Dutch. I appreciate that you at least make the effort to speak Dutch (just as I do my best to speak French, German, English, or Danish when abroad). The restrooms were spotless, and the site was spacious.

    Voor een nachtje geboekt omdat we naar een concert in het openluchttheater van Valkenburg moesten zijn. Zo laat nog terug naar huis vinden we geen optie. Deze camping is onderdeel van Huttopia en dat kennen we al van hun camping bij Versailles. En datzelfde comfort vind je hier op deze camping. Kortom: gewoon prima. De receptioniste heette ons welkom, ze had al een idee wie wij waren. Ze verontschuldigde zich voor haar gebrekkige Nederlands. Dat vind ik fijn dat je in ieder geval de moeite doet om Nederlands te praten (net als ik mijn best doe om in buitenland Frans, Duits, Engels of bijv. Deens te praten). Sanitair helemaal netjes en ook een ruime plek.

    The campground itself is fine, though not particularly clean; the staff is friendly. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this isn’t the place for you—it’s in a very busy area near a train station, railroad tracks, and the airport. On weekends, it fills up with weekenders, and there’s a lot of barking and noise until late at night. So if you’re looking for peace and quiet, find another campground; complaining about the noise is pointless—after 8:00 PM, no one is available. This was our last time here.

    De camping op zich ligt prima niet bijzonder schoon, personeel is aardig, voor je rust moet je hier niet zijn, zeer drukke omgeving vlakbij trein, spoor en luchthaven. In het weekend loopt vol met weekendgasten , veel geblaf en herrie tot laat. Als je dus voor je rust komt zoek een andere camping, klagen over de herrie heeft geen zin, na 2000 uur niemand meer te bereiken. Voor ons laatste keer.

    We had a very nice stay at CityKamp Valkenburg. The location is excellent - ideal for exploring Valkenburg and Maastricht. The whole site is very clean and well maintained. We particularly liked the large pitches, which offered plenty of space and privacy. The staff were friendly and everything was well organized. An all-round successful stay. We would love to come back and can recommend the campsite without reservation!

    Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt auf dem CityKamp Valkenburg. Die Lage ist hervorragend – ideal, um Valkenburg und Maastricht zu erkunden. Der gesamte Platz ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die großen Stellplätze, die ausreichend Platz und Privatsphäre bieten. Das Personal war freundlich und alles war bestens organisiert. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können den Campingplatz uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
