    We really enjoyed our last 14 days at Mareveld Campground in Schimmert, Limburg! It’s a small campground with spacious sites—some of which, like ours, have water and drainage—and plenty of room for your caravan. There’s a lovely swimming pool, which was a real treat these past few days with this heat.A wonderful restaurant where we had some great meals, with an atmosphere reminiscent of days gone by. The outdoor terrace is perfect for enjoying a drink or a meal under the trees, which are beautifully lit in the evening.The surroundings are absolutely beautiful; we went on some wonderful bike rides. Valkenburg and Maastricht are within biking distance, and the rest of the area is also gorgeous for biking or hiking. We’ll definitely be back here—it’s fantastic!

    Wat hebben wij genoten de afgelopen 14 dagen op camping Mareveld in Schimmert Limburg! Een kleine camping met ruime staplaatsten waarvan enkele met water en afvoer zoals wij hadden,een ruimveld voor je caravan .Een heerlijk zwembad wat deze dagen echt een kadootje was met deze warmte.Een heerlijk restaurant waar we lekker hebben gegeten ,met de sfeer van de vroegere jaren .Het buiten terras nodigt uit om gezellig een drankje te doen of te eten ,onder de bomen die s avonds sfeervol verlicht zijn .De omgeving is geweldig mooi ,we hebben prachtige fietstochten gemaakt ,Valkenburg ,en Maastricht binnen fietsafstand ,en de rest vd omgeving is ook geweldig mooi om te fietsen of te wandelen. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug ,top!.

    Camping Mareveld is beautifully situated and has spacious sites. It has a small swimming pool and a nice playground. A campground with potential. Unfortunately, the restrooms are very outdated; the showerheads are covered in limescale, which could be addressed, and cleaning them would also help. Hygiene isn’t a top priority at this campground. The welcome was also far from friendly.

    Camping Mareveld is mooi gelegen en heeft ruime plaatsen. Klein zwembad en mooie speeltuin. Een camping met potentie. Het sanitair is helaas sterk verouderd, verkalkte douchekoppen waar je wat aan kunt doen en ook schoonmaken zou helpen. Hygiene staat niet hoog in het vaandel bij deze camping. Ontvangst was ook verre van vriendelijk.

    Worst campground I have ever experienced. Staff (campground owner ) extremely unfriendly and antisocial. Plumbing very dirty and should be renovated. Here we will never come back.

    Slechte camping die ik ooit heb meegemaakt. Personeel (camping eigenaar ) uitermate onvriendelijk en asociaal. Sanitair heel vies en mag best gerenoveerd worden. Hier komen wij nooit meer terug.
