The Papilio 4+2 is a glamping tent that takes camping to a different level. The spacious tent is freestanding, suitable for 6 persons and can be entered via a few steps. The common room has a dining area and an open kitchen with amenities such as a coffee maker, induction cooker and fridge freezer. In total, there are 6 sleeping places, of which 1 double bed on the ground floor, 1 bunk bed for kids (max 80kg) and 1 double bed on the sleeping loft (accessible via a ladder). The bathroom has a shower cabin, toilet and washbasin. The entrance to the tent is adjacent to a spacious veranda. You can park your car at the nearby central car park and you have free Wi-Fi in the tent.

The park is ideally located between Maastricht and Valkenburg, with a bus stop right outside and beautiful cycling routes through the hilly surroundings. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, spacious camping pitches, and very clean, modern sanitary facilities that are well maintained. The atmosphere is peaceful and family-friendly, featuring playgrounds, a restaurant, and amenities like a self-scan shop. Unfortunately, the swimming pool has been frequently closed due to technical problems, causing disappointment among many visitors who did not receive adequate compensation.

    When we were warmly welcomed, we realized that because we had an ACSI card, we were given a spot all the way at the back of the campground—even though the campground was almost empty—and to make matters worse, the nearest restroom closed the next day.
    And this morning, even the chemical toilets were closed—with a wooden plank across them—so we … had to empty them into a pit in front of the entrance near the RV service area. A strange situation.
    The indoor pool was clean but had cold water.
    We wouldn’t recommend this place to other campers.

    Toen we aardig werden ontvangen kregen we door dat we acsi kaart hebben een plekje helemaal achteraan de camping terwijl de camping bijna leeg was,en ging ook nog eens het dichtstbijzijnde wc huisje dicht de volgende dag .
    En vanmorgen was overal zelfs de chemische toiletten gesloten met een plank hout erop heb t kunnen storten in een put voor de ingang bij de camper service plek rare situatie.
    En binnenzwembad schoon maar koud water .
    Deze plek is voor ons geen aanrader voor andere kampeerders
