    We decided to take a cycling vacation from Central Limburg to South Limburg. Our initial plan was to cycle from hotel to hotel every day throughout South Limburg.
    But then we decided on a centrally located bungalow park instead, and through “Voordeeluitjes” we found this fairly new park in Bemelen, near Maastricht, which is easily accessible by bike from Central Limburg.
    A beautifully situated mountain lodge, accessible via the resort’s well-organized booking system.
    The layout is particularly well-suited for young people or young families, as the second bedroom is located in the attic of the lodge. It’s neat and very well-maintained.

    All necessary amenities are provided, except for a Senseo coffee machine.
    The bathroom is small but very neat and well-maintained, with an exhaust fan, an outlet, and a rain shower.
    A small terrace with garden chairs and a table offering a beautiful view; the Italian restaurant is highly recommended, with extremely friendly staff and delicious dishes—fortunately, they can serve them without Parmesan cheese upon request.

    Northeast of Cadier en Keer, adjacent to the hamlet of ’t Rooth, lies a large open-pit quarry. Marble was quarried here until 2017.

    We hebben gekozen voor een fietsvakantie vanuit Midden Limburg naar Zuid-Limburg. De bedoeling was allereerst om elke dag van hotel naar hotel te fietsen door heel Zuid-Limburg.
    Maar toen toch besloten voor een centraal gelegen Bungalow park, en kwamen via voordeeluitjes bij dit tamelijk nieuw park uit in Bemelen, nabij gelegen bij Maastricht, goed bereikbaar met de fiets vanuit Midden Limburg.
    Super mooi gelegen berglodge, toegankelijk via goed geregeld boekingssysteem van het resort.
    De inrichting is vooral geschikt voor jonge mensen of jonge gezinnen, twee slaapkamer is namelijk in de nok van de lodge. Netjes verzorgd en zeer goed onderhouden.

    Alle nodige faciliteiten zijn aanwezig, behalve een Senseo machine.
    Bakkamer is klein maar zeer netjes en goed onderhouden, met afzuiging, stopcontact en regendouche.
    Klein terrasje met tuinstoelen en tafel met het mooie uitzicht, het Italiaans restaurant is een aanrader, uiterst vriendelijk personeel en super lekkere gerechten, gelukkig op verzoek ook zonder Parmezaanse kaas.

    Ten noordoosten van Cadier en Keer ligt tegen het gehucht ’t Rooth aan een grote dagbouwgroeve. Tot 2017 werd hier mergel gewonnen.

    The resort is in a beautiful location and is beautifully designed with excellent cottages. The booking and check-in process, as well as resort access via license plate, are well organized. Beautiful pool!

    However, accessing the cottages via the app is frustrating (it often doesn’t work) and can even be dangerous. The door locks itself every time. If you leave your phone inside, you can’t get back in. It’s unthinkable if a small child were inside! Please fix this!

    We wanted to rent a bike. At 4:45 p.m. A one-day rental runs until 5:00 p.m.! There was no way to arrange it. The receptionist looked immaculate but was not at all customer-oriented.

    There’s a Plus supermarket and a bakery 3 km away in Berg. And then there’s the Ciao Ciao restaurant: fantastic! They really go all out! Great (Italian) food, run with heart and soul. Be sure to book in advance, though, because it’s fully booked every day.

    So feel free to book this resort!

    The management does still have some work to do when it comes to the digital key system and customer service!

    Het resort ligt op een mooie locatie, is mooi ontworpen met prima huisjes. Boek- en incheckproces en toegang tot resort op kenteken goed ingeregeld. Mooi zwembad!

    Toegang tot de huisjes met de app is echter storend (werkt vaak niet) en kan zelfs gevaarlijk zijn. De deur valt iedere keer in het slot. Als je je telefoon binnen laat liggen, kom je er niet meer in. Je moet er niet aan denken dat een klein kind binnen is! Los dit op!

    We wilden een fiets huren. Om 16u45. Tot 17u00 is één dag huur! Er viel niets te regelen. De receptioniste zag er tot in de puntjes verzorgt uit maar was vokstrekt niet klantgericht.

    Op 3 km in Berg is een Plus en warme bakker. En dan het restaurant Ciao Ciao: super! Ze gaan ervoor! Goed (Italiaans) eten, exploitatie met hart en ziel. Wel op tijd boeken want elke dag volledig volgeboekt.

    Je kunt hier dus gerust boeken voor dit resort!

    Het beheer heeft wél nog een uitdaging met betrekking tot de digitale huissleutel en klantgerichtheid!
