Enjoy the brand new Sunset Lodge, perfectly furnished for 6 people. With 3 bedrooms, including a bunk bed, and 2 bathrooms, comfort is guaranteed. Air conditioning and heating ensure a pleasant climate all year round. In the spacious seating area you can watch your favorite programs together, and at the dining table there's plenty of room for long evenings of cooking. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, and Nespresso machine.

On the veranda with a covered terrace, outdoor living beckons; ideal for relaxing with a drink while the children play. Box spring beds with fresh bed linen are ready for you when you arrive. A second toilet makes it extra practical.

Smoking and pets are not allowed, keeping everything fresh. Wake up, walk towards the water and experience a wonderful getaway surrounded by greenery at the Limburg Leukermeer.

    Beautiful location, but the sanitary facilities are a disappointmentStar rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (3 out of 5 stars)The campsite shines with its external values, but fails completely when it comes to hygiene. Officially, the site has 5 stars, but in our opinion it deserves a maximum of 3 stars. The positives: The plots and pitches are super flat, well-kept and beautifully green. The campsite is located in a very quiet, cozy area right next to a large lake. There is also plenty for children to discover here. The negatives (sanitary facilities): The condition of the sanitary facilities is very disappointing, plus some of the flushing taps have fallen off. It is apparently only cleaned once a day in the morning - in the evening it looks disastrous. There is mold in places in the showers. The sinks only have extremely hot water. The drains are defective, so that the water runs directly over your feet when draining. During our one-week stay, these defects were not repaired or cleaned once. Conclusion: Scenically beautiful and child-friendly, but the management urgently needs to get a grip on cleaning and maintaining the sanitary facilities.

Offiziell hat der Platz 5 Sterne, verdient wären unserer Meinung nach aktuell aber höchstens 3 Sterne. Das Positive: Die Parzellen und Stellplätze sind super eben, gepflegt und schön grün. Der Campingplatz liegt in einer sehr ruhigen, gemütlichen Gegend direkt an einem großen See. Auch für Kinder gibt es hier viel zu entdecken. Das Negative (Sanitäranlagen): Der Zustand der Sanitäranlagen ist sehr enttäuschend, zudem sind die Spülamaturen teilweise abgefallen. Es wird offenbar nur einmal am Tag morgens gereinigt – am Abend sieht es dementsprechend katastrophal aus. In den Duschen ist stellenweise Schimmel zu finden. An den Spülbecken kommt ausschließlich extrem heißes Wasser. Die Abläufe sind defekt, sodass einem das Wasser beim Ablassen direkt über die Füße läuft. Während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthalts wurden diese Mängel kein einziges Mal behoben oder gereinigt. Fazit: Landschaftlich wunderschön und kinderfreundlich, aber das Management muss dringend die Reinigung und Wartung der Sanitäranlagen in den Griff bekommen.
