Looking for a relaxed getaway in nature with your group of friends? This modern chalet at Bospark 't Wolfsven is tucked away in the woods, yet only about 12 km from the buzzing city of Eindhoven. With room for up to six people (four adults and two kids), it’s the perfect base for a fun break in North Brabant.

The detached, single-storey chalet feels bright and spacious thanks to the large windows and clean, modern design. The living area has a smart TV and underfloor heating, plus air conditioning to keep things comfortable in every season. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook together: a dishwasher, hob, fridge and a coffee machine for your morning caffeine fix.

There are two stylish bathrooms, so you don’t have to queue in the morning, and several sleeping areas, including a cosy lofted space that kids usually claim straight away. The layout makes it easy to stay here with a group of friends or a small family group, with enough room for everyone to relax.

You’re surrounded by forest, so you can literally step outside and walk straight into nature. The nearby Strabrechtse Heide offers wide open heathlands and peaceful walking trails, while the paths around Mierlo and Geldrop are perfect for a relaxed hike or bike ride. Back at the park you can take a refreshing dip in the shared indoor pool or unwind on your private terrace, complete with garden furniture and lots of greenery around you.

Good news if you don’t like leaving your dog at home: this chalet is pet-friendly, and there’s even a dog-friendly lake beach in the park. It’s ideal for a morning swim and a run around before you settle in for the day.

Feeling hungry? There’s an on-site restaurant just 100 metres away for easy dinners or drinks, and you’ll find cosy restaurants and cafés in nearby villages like Heeze and Nuenen. A bakery and supermarket about 2.3 km away make it simple to stock up on fresh bread and other essentials.

You also have private parking next to the chalet, so arriving and unpacking is hassle-free. Do keep in mind that the holiday park allows fireworks around New Year’s. Ask at reception for the designated area and make sure to clean up any remains afterwards.

    Unfortunately, upon arrival, the cottage was not clean. There was bread from previous visitors in the closet, in our bed we found men's boxer shorts, everywhere was dusty, there were lots of rags hanging throughout the cottage and the toilet was literally filthy. After 3 days of heat and sticky nights we found out that the air conditioner only blew hot air. This was addressed by a thoughtful staff member who gave us the remote control. After a day out and then out to dinner on day 5 of the vacation we got to the cottage and could not get in. Number lock was not working and the pass did not give access to the lodge either. Staff member came and gave us a key so we could lock the lodge. Staff at the front desk who heard all complaints was anything but customer friendly at that time. Unfortunately bad experience this year. Doubt to ever go to this park again. Store staff and service staff were very friendly by the way.

    Helaas was bij aankomst het huisje niet schoon. Er lag brood van vorige bezoekers in de kast, in ons bed vonden we een heren boxershort, overal was het stoffig, hingen er veel raggen door het hele huisje en het toilet was letterlijk smerig. Na 3 dagen warmte en plaknachten kwamen we er achter dat de airco alleen maar warme lucht blies. Dit werd opgepakt door een meedenkende medewerker die ons de afstandsbediening gaf. Na een dagje uit geweest te zijn en daarna uit eten op dag 5 van de vakantie kwamen we bij het huisje en konden we er niet in. Cijferslot werkte niet en het pasje gaf ook geen toegang tot de lodge. Medewerker kwam en gaf ons een sleutel om zo de lodge af te kunnen sluiten. Medewerkers bij de balie die alle klachten aanhoorde was op dat moment alles behalve klantvriendelijk. Helaas slechte ervaring dit jaar. Twijfel om ooit nog weer naar dit park te gaan. Winkelpersoneel en service medewerkers waren overigens zeer vriendelijk.
