A very clean cottage with all the amenities, but one thing is for sure—it’s worth considering: in the living room wall to the left of the TV in the sitting area, if it were my chalet, I’d buy a nightlight and plug it in! I was incredibly lucky—I tripped over that damn tall ottoman in the middle of the night, and my whole right hand flew into the bathroom door, while my left leg shot up in the air. My husband thought the world was coming to an end 🤣Yeah, I can laugh about it now—otherwise, I could’ve gone on some beautiful bike rides, and ☀️ sunshine every day—truly a gift. And at the Heeze intersection on the 12th/ 13 in Leende, my husband fell off a high curb yesterday morning around 11:30. I heard a lot of noise; an old lady walked past him, and I was right behind her. My God—an 81-year-old was lying on the sidewalk. After recovering from the shock, two people helped lift him up. He had a scrape on his knee but was otherwise fine. We took a lovely walk to 12:00 p.m. and took a time-out—and let it all out. My cell phone is lost—yeah, it’s either in your back pocket or jacket, on the sidewalk or in the bushes—so I filled out everything on my phone and on gevondenvoorwerpen.nl: name, location, and yes, it was found—just got home in Zeeland, unfortunately. But, believe it or not, I actually drove out there after breakfast at 10 a.m.—to the scene of the accident—and at the Heeze-Leende junction, 12 /13—I knew exactly which high curb it was, and sure enough, this is where you fell. A guardian angel was watching over you at that moment, and now the phone has been found. My husband is already busy sending emails on his laptop; he opened the message.C—yes, the cell phone was found! Hooray, we’ll make the round trip again—a nice ride—and neither he nor I suffered any ill effects from the free fall. Ballerina stretches, “Strong Woman,” and my dear soccer player—one more experience under our belts. All in all, we had a wonderful week’s vacation—a 10 for the park itself—our own comforters and duvet covers pillows, plus towels, dish towels, and wipes—and we cooked for ourselves for two days; the rest was takeout for lunch or dinner. And the lovely square in Mierlo—after biking, we’d come back to sleep like logs at the park. Oh, and the weather was so nice—a beautiful apartment, a lovely park, the countryside, the Terra Maris Museum, the castle, forests, dunes, and the sea 1 km from Domburg—we’ve lived here for 11 years now and never get bored. No more big gardens, and we hope to celebrate our 60th honeymoon anniversary in September 2027 and celebrate our wedding anniversary every year somewhere in the beautiful Netherlands or abroad. A romantic man and a grateful wife—two children, three grown-up students, grandsons, a internship at a law firm, working on his thesis; my brother is also an AI student at Radboud University; and our daughter is studying economics at the University of Amsterdam—so we’re happy Grandpa and Grandma With best regards, Hennie and Theo Post

Beautiful cottages surrounded by nature

We were there in early June. It was nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The cottage was clean. Great!

Beautiful location, lovely cottage, neat and clean.

We have a house on the road and much trouble from loud youth coming back from carnival from 3 to 5 at night. No security to intervene.

The rooms are somewhat small
