Very nice tent. Cooking on real fire, showering outdoors and warming up in the wood-fired hot tub at night! And all that with an incredibly hospitable farmer family. You can look everywhere, stroke the cows, collect your own eggs for breakfast. And all your questions are answered. It is also a beautiful area with all kinds of fun activities. We enjoyed a great long weekend at farm bed the old melkstal❤️ Thanks!

Hele mooie tent.

Staying with Esther and Wim and with Rex; what an adventure it was!🏕 At 64 for the 1st time : sleeping in a box bed in a tent, cooking pasta carbonara in the open air over a fire, being at the birth of a calf, playing rummicub by candlelight over a beer, showering in a wooden hut - outside , making tea in a kettle on the wood stove.🫖 When I stepped into the tent I imagined myself in a fairy tale from the Efteling!🍄 All worries of the past hectic days disappeared like snow in the sun ; how soothing a meadow full of cows can be (except during childbirth , we "city people" thought that was just pathetic). But once he was born after an hour and a half , it was "our" little bull !🐮 Every day we went to visit him , just like the cats . Chickens and guinea pigs. A delight for animal lovers like us. Also Rex .the little dog .became a faithful visitor at our tent.🐶 Of course we had Esther pamper us daily with an extensive breakfast service: a chest full of local produce that we had enough of at lunch too!🥐🥚🫖 Fortunately, there was plenty of walking so we got some exercise as well. For all our "farming knowledge" we could turn to Wim : he explained everything! In the little store we could buy treats and handy things that we were still short of, such as firelighters when one bleak morning we couldn't get the stove going with a cardboard box that had contained the apple pie....😂 Once home while looking at the pictures. homesickness struck; what an insanely fun time we had! Thank you Esther and Wim! I hope you also enjoyed our visit. Greetings from : Janny , Annet , Ine and Anja.
