Berkel 6 is a spacious chalet with a contemporary and attractive interior. The detached chalet is on the ground floor and suitable for 6 persons. The living area is furnished with a cosy sitting area with television, a dining area and a kitchen with an induction cooker, dishwasher and Nespresso Professional Machine (capsules for this are only available at the reception). In total there are 3 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. Furthermore, there is 1 bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet and washbasin. In the garden you can enjoy a furnished terrace.     Stayed here around New Year's Eve. Reception friendly and helpful. Cottage clean. We had a sliding door which was not pleasant. Door was heavy to open and close and the knob was very close to the edge. Swimming pool outdated, 3 showers wherevn 1 did not work, ladies toilet out of order and the water I find just a bit too cold. Outdoor pool was logically closed. Store not accessible for wheelchair users. Groceries in Kaatsheuvel done. Parking lot and path to cottage had pebbles as a covering, here a wheelchair noet drive. There was a lot of snow. Upon departure, the contact was frozen. An employee warmed up the key with a lighter and the car could be started again. He was also kind enough to clear the path of snow for my mother, who has very limited mobility.

    Rond oud en nieuw hier verbleven. Receptie vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Huisje netjes. We hadden een schuifdeur wat niet prettig was. Deur was zwaar om te openen en sluiten en de draaiknop stond heel dicht bij de rand. Zwembad verouderd, 3 douchjes waarvn 1 het niet deed, damestoilet buiten gebruik en het water vind ik net wat te koud. Buitenbad was logisch gesloten. Winkeltje niet toegankelijk voor rolstoelers. Boodschappen in Kaatsheuvel gedaan. Parkeer terrein en pad naar huisje toe had steentjes als bedekking, hier kan een rolstoel noet over rijden. Er was zeer veel sneeuw gevallen. Met vertrek bleek het contact bevroren te zijn. Een werknemer heeft de sleutel opgewarmd met een aansteker en de auto kon weer gestart worden. Hij was ook zo aardig om het pad sneeuwvrij te maken voor mijn zeer slecht ter been zijnde moeder.

    Nice, clean chalet on a beautifully landscaped park. Nice decorated, many nice playgrounds. Everything is quite close together and through large windows a lot of visibility. Some tips / improvements: - pool stone cold. Women's toilet in pool was broken, I got comments that I in my wet bathing suit at the entrance to the toilet went "because then it was so wet there" 🤷‍♀️ - a little more cutlery would be nice so the dishwasher can be loaded a little fuller - arrival very busy and somewhat chaotic, process could be a bit clearer because now there are people waiting outside in line and the other half of the company is waiting in the car in line. Only late it becomes clear that you can check in from the car but this only becomes clear when it is almost your turn. In my opinion, this made the queues twice as long - mop in cottage would be handy so we could mop away moisture at window frames in the morning. Now we got towels but whether they get clean...? 😅 - mini market is nothing and ridiculously expensive: box of tea 3.60. Bottle of spa red 3.75. Bag of chips 3.20.... All in all had nice week and ended the vacation with a positive feeling.

    Mooie, schone chalet op een prachtig aangelegd park. Leuk aangekleed, veel leuke speeltuintjes. Alles staat wel vrij dicht op elkaar en door grote raampartijen veel inkijk. Wel wat tips/verbeterpunten: - zwembad steenkoud. Damestoilet in zwembad was kapot, ik kreeg commentaar dat ik in mijn natte badpak bij de entree naar het toilet ging ‘want dan werd het daar zo nat’ 🤷‍♀️ - iets meer bestek zou lekker zijn zodat de vaatwasser wat voller geladen kan worden - aankomst enorm druk en doet wat chaotisch aan, proces kan wel wat duidelijker want nu staan er mensen buiten in de rij te wachten en de andere helft van het gezelschap staat in de auto in de rij. Pas laat wordt duidelijk dat je vanuit de auto kunt inchecken maar dit wordt pas duidelijk als je bijna aan de beurt bent. Voor mijn gevoel werden de rijen hierdoor dubbel zo lang - dweil in huisje zou handig zijn zodat we ‘s ochtends vocht bij kozijnen konden wegdweilen. Nu kregen we handdoeken maar of die schoon worden..? 😅 - minimarkt stelt niets voor en belachelijk duur: doosje thee 3,60. Fles spa rood 3,75. Zak chips 3,20.. Al met al leuke week gehad en met een positief gevoel de vakantie afgesloten.

    I came here because I wanted to spend New Year's Eve in a fireworks-free park with my doggies. The internet said that because of its location there is very little banging and fireworks to experience. Well, last night was like a war here, next to the park in the streets and around were super many fireworks to see and bangs to hear. My little dogs were very bothered. The park is very nice itself, but definitely not suitable for people with dogs who are afraid of the loud bangs a fireworks.

    Ik kwam hier omdat ik de oud en nieuw in een vuurwerkvrij park wilde doorbrengen met mijn hondjes. Op internet stond dat door de ligging er is erg weinig knal en vuurwerk te ervaren. Nou, gisteren avond was net als een oorlog hier, naast de park in de straten en rondom waren super veel vuurwek te zien en knallen te horen. Mijn hondjes hadden erg veel last van. De park is erg leuk zelf, maar zeker niet geschikt voor mensen met honden die bang zijn voor de harde knallen een vuurwerk.
