Lovely patio and a delicious meal.

The park definitely has potential. The cottages are nicely decorated, fully equipped, and offer a beautiful view. Unfortunately, there were some minor and major setbacks during our stay that made the overall experience less than ideal.

The cottage had a few issues: the bedroom door wouldn’t close because the bed was positioned incorrectly, several doors didn’t lock properly, the oven knob was broken, door handles were loose, the curtains weren’t secured properly, and there were no hooks for towels in the bathroom or kitchen. There were also tools and building materials left in the shed. We reported these issues immediately to the front desk, but no one came by during our stay.

We had specifically booked this cottage because of the air conditioning. Unfortunately, there was only one air conditioner in the hallway and none in the bedrooms, even though that’s exactly where you need it. This is useful information to include on the website. There were no curtains on the large windows by the front door, so we couldn’t darken the cottage, even though we slept with the bedroom doors open to let the air conditioning in.

We had called in advance about the construction work at the park and were told that everything would be finished by the time of our stay. In reality, our cottage was right next to a construction site, and there was still plenty of activity going on, with workers walking through our yard. That was very disappointing, because we were specifically looking for peace and quiet.

Our pool pass suddenly stopped working, so in 35 degrees, we first had to wait a long time at the front desk before we could get into the pool. The trash pass also didn’t work.

The restaurant was inconsistent. Despite there being empty tables, we couldn’t get a seat on the patio, and during another visit, dishes were already sold out by around 5:00 p.m. A healthier kids’ menu would be welcome for young children.

Finally, on hot days, the outdoor pool was surprisingly warm, so it offered little relief from the heat.

All in all, a park with nice cottages, but due to the many shortcomings, the construction work, and the poor handling of issues, we found the value for money to be disappointing.

There's no bike rental because of the festival next door, and it's not mentioned anywhere online. One of the reasons I booked this place was because it was convenient to rent bikes.
