Summary created out of 151 reviews

This campsite is beautifully located in the dunes, directly by the beach and within walking distance of the village De Koog. Guests appreciate the unique location and the privacy offered by the dune pitches. Sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and well distributed across the site. Staff are often described as friendly and helpful. However, there are some concerns: the price is considered high, the parking area is often full, and some sanitary buildings are dated and can be busy during high season.

Beautiful location; the restrooms are clean and modern.

We stayed for two nights in a tent. First on D37, one of the few spots from which you can see the sea and the sunset. It’s quite exposed to the wind, though, so after being blown around all night, we moved to a nice sheltered spot just below it on D35. With wind force 7, that was definitely more comfortable.

Unfortunately, groups of 5 boys accompanied by 1 adult are not welcome. There’s no mention of this on the website, but you’re turned away immediately upon arrival! You don’t even get the benefit of the doubt or a chance to prove that things could work out. Outrageous!! Either post this on the website or ask for birthdates during the booking process. We were looking forward to the beautiful location and our vacation, only to be turned away immediately after a 3-hour drive. Once again, scandalous!

Nogmaals schandalig!

Nice campground, though the restrooms aren't always very clean. That might have more to do with the people using the restrooms than with the cleaning.

A lovely campground with something for everyone. There are sites in the dunes with electricity, and you can choose one close to a beach access point—or not. The restroom facilities are great. It’s nice that they have a dishwashing station. It’s cleaned frequently.

Toiletgebouw prima. Fijn dat ze spoelmachine hebben. Wordt vaak schoongemaakt.
