The lodge sleeps up to 6 people and is perfect for a small group of friends. Start your day with coffee on the veranda, barefoot in the sand, and end it with a drink under the stars and candlelight. The fenced garden gives you plenty of privacy, and there’s space to relax, play games or fire up the stove. Kids are more than welcome too: they’ll love the playful box bed and the outdoor shower. There’s even a trampoline in the garden, so they can jump around while you chill with a drink.

The outdoor shower is a real highlight – refreshing after a beach day or morning run in the dunes. Prefer something calmer? Just sink into a chair on the veranda, listen to the wind in the dunes and enjoy the peace. Here, life is simple, social and all about being outside together.

From your tent, you can walk straight to the wide sandy beach of Callantsoog. It’s the perfect spot for a swim, sunset drinks or a lazy beach day. Nearby, the Zwanenwater Nature Reserve invites you for walks through dunes and along lakes, with plenty of chances for birdwatching and photography. Dogs are welcome in the area, and there are dog-friendly zones on the beach, so your four-legged friend can come along too.

Fancy a little road trip or bike ride? Explore the charming town of Schagen with its cafés and shops, or cycle through colourful tulip fields in spring. And after a day outside, you can either cook under the stars at your lodge or head out for a good meal: try Strandpaviljoen Vos for dinner with sea views, grab classic Dutch snacks at Ijsie Prima, or enjoy fresh fish at Visrestaurant De Jongens.
