Mobil home had obviously been smoked in for a long time. The smell was really dirty and opening the windows was not enough. My daughter found a pack of cigarettes in the bed where she was supposed to sleep.

Mobil home was duidelijk langdurig in gerookt.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at EuroParcs Het Amsterdamse Bos was so disastrous that I feel I must warn future travelers. Save your money and run away from this place, it's an absolute disgrace for the outdoor hotel industry! As soon as we arrived, the tone was set. A frosty welcome, reception staff who clearly seemed annoyed by our presence and an interminable wait to collect the keys. But the real shock came when we discovered our accommodation. Deplorable hygiene: The accommodation was in an unacceptably unhygienic state. When we opened the door, we were overcome by the stench of stale, damp air. The sheets looked as if they hadn't been changed (there were suspicious stains), the crockery in the cupboards was sticky, and the bathroom was a real nightmare: the joints were black with mildew and the hair of previous tenants was still in the shower. Non-existent, dismissive customer service: When we returned to reception to report these obvious problems and request an intervention, we were treated with total disdain. No apologies, no empathy. We were told that no cleaning crew was available and that we'd have to "make do" because the park was full. No commercial gesture or offer of rehousing was considered. To top it all off, the campsite is poorly maintained (muddy paths, overflowing garbage cans) and the noise is unbearable, not least because of the Schiphol airport air corridor just above, a detail they are careful not to mention on their website. The rates they charge for such a miserable quality of service are pure fraud. It's a total lack of respect for customers who come to relax. Don't waste your vacation, look for any other establishment, but don't go there!
