The sanitary building is getting on in years. Ventilation fans partly defective (toilet and shower). Camping pitches are at the back of the site and only accessible via narrow paths. A one-way street would be useful here. Location: Somewhere in the middle of nowhere. But in the neighborhood of a very nice lake with a restaurant and beach.

Upon arrival the reception was closed i.v.m. break and you could not enter the park earlier. Because of this several people had to wait. The sanitary building is not well maintained. At the campsite many regular guests which creates a certain atmosphere. No possibility to stay longer on the day of departure or to park your vehicle somewhere so you can still do something in the neighborhood. Nice surroundings though with the Geestmerambacht on the other side of the road. Pool was heated and there were chairs and sunbeds available.

I found it a unique experience to stay in Glamping tent Desert 5 for a week. The tent was super clean and neatly delivered. The bed was very comfortable. And the air conditioning also came in handy with the hot weather.
