We stayed at EuroParcs Spaarnwoude, House 23, as a family (2 adults, 2 children, ages 12 and 15) from July 29 to August 2, 2026. The rental price was €795.
The vacation home itself was nice, but our stay was severely marred by significant issues.
Upon our arrival, the indoor temperature in the house was approximately 36 °C. The air conditioner in the living area wasn’t working. It blew air, but it didn’t cool at all. The air conditioner in the parents’ bedroom could at least be used to a limited extent starting on the second day. However, this was not a solution for our children, as they had to sleep in the living area.
We reported the malfunction on the evening of our arrival and followed up with complaints at the front desk every day thereafter. Nothing happened for two days; then technicians came and tried to fix the problem, but were unable to repair the air conditioner in the living area during our entire stay.
The temperature in the living area was over 30 °C every day during the day. At night, we couldn’t simply leave the windows open because of the numerous mosquitoes. This made the situation particularly unpleasant, especially with two children.
In addition, the dishwasher was broken and could only be used to a limited extent.
Furthermore, the property is located directly in the airport’s flight path; we had underestimated the extreme noise when making the reservation.
The property’s garden was completely neglected.
We were particularly disappointed not only by the technical malfunction but also by how it was handled. Although we reported the problem immediately and repeatedly asked for a solution throughout our stay, it was not resolved by the time we left.
After our stay, we contacted EuroParcs again in detail. EuroParcs has since confirmed the problems with the air conditioner and the dishwasher in writing and apologized for them. However, as compensation, we were offered only a €70 voucher for a future stay. A refund was denied.
Given the rental price of 795 € and the significant disruption caused by the heat, we did not consider this an adequate solution.
Conclusion: The house itself (with the exception of the unkempt garden) was nice, but a functioning air conditioner (as booked) in the living area was not just a nice-to-have extra for us given the prevailing temperatures—it was essential for a pleasant stay. Wir waren vom 29.07. bis 02.08.2026 als Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder, 12 und 15 Jahre) im EuroParcs Spaarnwoude, Haus 23. Der Mietpreis betrug 795 €.
Das Ferienhaus selbst war schön, allerdings wurde unser Aufenthalt durch erhebliche Mängel massiv beeinträchtigt.
Bei unserer Ankunft hatte das Haus eine Innentemperatur von ca. 36 °C. Die Klimaanlage im Wohnbereich funktionierte nicht. Sie blies zwar Luft, kühlte aber überhaupt nicht. Die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer der Eltern konnte ab dem zweiten Tag zumindest eingeschränkt genutzt werden. Für unsere Kinder war das jedoch keine Lösung, da sie im Wohnbereich schlafen mussten.
Wir haben den Defekt noch am Ankunftsabend gemeldet und danach jeden Tag erneut an der Rezeption reklamiert. Zwei Tage passierte nichts, danach kamen Techniker kamen und versuchten, das Problem zu beheben, konnten die Klimaanlage im Wohnbereich aber während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts nicht reparieren.
Die Temperatur im Wohnbereich lag tagsüber täglich bei über 30 °C. Nachts konnten wir wegen der zahlreichen Mücken die Fenster nicht einfach offen lassen. Gerade mit zwei Kindern war die Situation dadurch sehr unangenehm.
Zusätzlich war der Geschirrspüler defekt und konnte nur eingeschränkt benutzt werden.
Dazu liegt der Park in direkter Einflugschneise des Flughafen, extremen Lärm hatten wir bei der Buchung unterschätzt.
Der Garten des Hauses war völlig ungepflegt.
Besonders enttäuschend war für uns nicht nur der technische Defekt, sondern der Umgang damit. Obwohl wir das Problem sofort gemeldet und während des gesamten Aufenthalts immer wieder nach einer Lösung gefragt haben, wurde es bis zu unserer Abreise nicht behoben.
Nach dem Aufenthalt haben wir EuroParcs nochmals ausführlich kontaktiert. EuroParcs hat die Probleme mit der Klimaanlage und dem Geschirrspüler inzwischen schriftlich bestätigt und sich dafür entschuldigt. Als Entschädigung wurden uns allerdings lediglich 70 € als Gutschein für einen zukünftigen Aufenthalt angeboten. Eine Rückerstattung wurde abgelehnt.
Für uns war dies angesichts eines Mietpreises von 795 € und der erheblichen Beeinträchtigung durch die Hitze keine angemessene Lösung.
Fazit: Das Haus an sich (mit Ausnahme des ungepflegten Gartens) war schön, aber eine funktionierende Klimaanlage (wie gebucht) im Wohnbereich war bei den herrschenden Temperaturen für uns keine unwichtige Zusatzleistung, sondern entscheidend für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung würden wir EuroParcs Spaarnwoude derzeit nicht wieder buchen. -

We spent 5 days at the park as a couple. We had a house. The furnishings were okay, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The worst part, however, was the constant airplane traffic. We were in House 41, and planes flew over the house every second (even at night).

Wir waren als Paar für 5 Tage im Park. Hatten ein Haus. Die Einrichtung war ok, aber die Sauberkeit war sehr wünschenswert. Das schlimmste jedoch ist der ständige Flugbetrieb. Wir hatten Haus 41 und die Flugzeuge flogen im Sekundentakt übers Haus ( auch in der Nacht).

I don't recommend staying here. The company I work for hosted us here for months, and we only encountered problems. The staff is unfriendly, arrogant, doesn't clean the houses, and is completely unhelpful. Don't waste your money or vacation days here; look elsewhere. I'm telling you this from the experience of employees from a large company who stayed here for almost a year. Good luck, because you're not competent.

An outdated little house. Broken shower door, broken countertop, broken windowpane in the living room. Broken outdoor tables. It was 33 degrees inside. No AC. No entertainment

Bij melding krijg ik alleen maar te horen dat ik had kunnen weten dat ik geen airco had. Ze praten helemaal niet over de gebreken! Krijg iedere keer dezelfde mail met : ik hoop dat u nog een fijn verblijf heeft. Terwijl ik allang weg ben.

When we arrived by car, we picked up the key at the front desk and circled our house on the map.
Of course, we couldn’t get through the gate, so we went back in and got a ticket.
The house was fine, but the airplane noise—depending on the time of day—is really unbearable.
On the second day, shortly after 8 a.m., they just started mowing the lawn without any warning, and on Thursday they went over the edges and the patio again with a brush cutter.
You have to sweep the patio clean yourself.
All of this was done without any prior notice.
One more tip for the train ride to Amsterdam: you only need one EC or credit card (one per person) to ride the train.
Just check in at the station and check out again at your destination.
OV Pay is a cool feature—DB could take a page from their book.
Two stops to Amsterdam cost €3.70.

Bei der Anreise mit dem Auto haben wir an der Rezeption den Schlüssel erhalten und auf dem Plan eingekreist unser Haus.
Wir kamen natürlich nicht durch die Schranke also nochmal rein und Ticket
bekommen.
Haus war soweit in Ordnung aber der Fluglärm je nach Tageszeit ist echt unerträglich.
Am 2. Tag kurz nach 8 Uhr wurde dort ohne Ansage einfach mal der Rasen gemäht und am Donerstag mit dem Freischneider nochmal die Kanten und die Terasse bearbeitet.
Die Terasse wieder frei fegen darf man selber.
Alles ohne vorher bescheid zu geben.
Ein Tip noch für die Zugfahrt nach Amsterdam, es wird nur eine EC oder Kreditkarte (für jeden eine) zum Zug fahren benötigt.
Einfach am Bahnhof einchecken und am Zielbahnhof wieder aus.
OV Pay ist eine coole Sache kann sich DB mal ne Scheibe abschneiden.
2 Stationen bis Amsterdam kosten dann 3.70€.
Uns sieht der Park nie wieder wegen dem Fluglärm.
