Inside, you’ll find a bright living room with large windows, comfy seating and a cozy fireplace – ideal for long chats, a glass of wine or a board game on cooler evenings. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking together is easy, whether you’re preparing a big breakfast or a lazy dinner after the beach.

Upstairs there are three double bedrooms, so everyone gets a real bed and enough privacy. The sleek bathroom is a real treat, with a relaxing sauna where you can warm up after a windy beach walk or a day of exploring. There’s also a washing machine and tumble dryer, plus central heating, so you can stay here comfortably in any season.

Slide open the door to your private garden and terrace. Here you can enjoy long outdoor dinners at the dining table and fire up the electric barbecue without any hassle. It’s a lovely place to start the day with coffee in the fresh dune air or end it under the stars.

The beach is only about 2 km away, so you can easily walk or bike there for a swim, sunset drinks or a long stroll along the shoreline. Nearby you’ll find the wild dunes of the North Holland Dune Reserve, the iconic lighthouse of Egmond aan Zee and the creative artists’ village of Bergen. Fancy a day of culture and shopping? Head to historic Alkmaar with its famous cheese market, canals and cosy streets.

Hungry? Try a seafood feast at beach restaurant Eazee, enjoy local Dutch classics at Het Wapen van Egmond, or go for organic and sustainable dishes at Natuurlijk. Everything is close by, so you can switch easily between beach life, nature and good food.
