Marina Parcs Naarden

Beautiful... everything in Naarden. There's so much to see in the surrounding area. I'd love to come back again and again.

My opinion is based on my experiences at Water View Lodge (Havenlodge) “Amsterdam,” and it’s terrible! One star is too many!

What a dump! The accommodation is small (too small). My teenage son didn’t fit in the bottom bunk of the bunk bed. And when he tried to step onto the first rung of the ladder, he got stuck against the wall.

The dining table seats a maximum of two people, and when the table on the balcony was touched lightly, one of its legs (heavily rusted) fell to the ground.

The floor is uneven and warped, comes loose in places, is wavy, and needs thorough maintenance—probably replacement.

There is a nauseating and intense odor in the cottage. An entire can of air freshener made no difference!

Both the interior and exterior need a deep cleaning. Everything feels stale.

The kitchen cabinets are loose in their frames, and the kitchenware isn’t sufficient for cooking for three people.

I’m 50 years old and 1.90 m tall, and I was crammed into the double bed; I had to climb over my partner just to get to the bathroom at night.

You can ONLY change clothes in the living area.

We booked for 3 days but drove home with screeching tires after the first night.

On the first day, at exactly 4:00 p.m., you receive the check-in details via EMAIL. We didn’t see or speak to ANYONE.

My advice: don’t even consider it! Don’t book it! This place is an absolute no-go and a disgrace. A total waste of money.

The surrounding area—the marina—is a nice spot, but please stay far away from the Water View Lodges.

We had the pleasure of spending four nights at the Havenlodge Naarden. Communication and check-in went smoothly, and everything was very well organized.
On-site, carts were available to transport guests from the parking lot to the houseboats.

Inside, everything was clean, and a small cleaning kit was provided. For TV lovers—there are no German channels.

Unfortunately, the seating area on the upper deck was covered in bird droppings. A cover would be useful here. You should bring something to sit on.

Next to the upper deck, there’s also a table with four chairs in the outdoor area, though it’s only partially covered. If it rains, you won’t be fully protected under the half-roof.

Two induction cooktops, as well as pots, pans, and dishes, were available.

There’s another restaurant on the premises—but it’s on the pricey side. In the city center, there’s a great bistro (Family Naarden). The Plus Robina Bos supermarket is also highly recommended.

Overall, it was a great stay with a maritime vibe.
