Being rented and sold we saw on a billboard as a vacation villa for a price for which you can also buy a house without all those rules of a park. "Holiday villa" turned out to be more like a Tiny House because everything is extra small, we got really cramped in the small living room and bedroom. For the children there was no animation and the children's pool was closed for a week because the water was condemned. You think you're near Bloemendaal but that's an hour by bike. You are more under the smoke of Hillegom, 10 minutes cycling but I guess that does not sound attractive for a residence. Supermarket wasn't there either just a restaurant but the kids wanted a snack bar. In the cottage was the previous owner probably with a dog because it and der we found hairs from it. Barking in the night we were not exactly happy about so yes 1 star is still too much for the expensively paid vacation what for the children and us ultimately was not a vacation by all irritations.

On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Winni van Wier. Although we had read that there were complaints about poor English, we received a very warm welcome in both English and German. The entrance and exit is via a barrier that automatically recognizes the license plate, which makes everything very easy. The barrier is closed for entry from 10pm-2pm, but there is plenty of parking right outside the site. As we arrived out of season, the store on site was closed. However, we were given directions directly to some supermarkets nearby. We had booked a villa for 4 people. It was like a tinyhouse - super cozy, with a TV in every room. The proximity to the dog beach (28 minutes by car) and to Amsterdam (3 minutes drive to the train station, 20-30 minutes to the center by train) were a real blessing. Even closer (and less touristy!) is Haarlem - really recommendable. My tip: ask directly at reception for insider tips on food, sights or museum visits. This makes the vacation even better. If you don't want to travel by car, you can also hire a bike directly from reception, but you should ask for this in advance. It was a great break for us with our dog and we would love to come back. And special greetings to Winnie... MAGICAL!

MAGICAL!

Vacation park Marinapark Residence Bloemendaal was unfortunately a bit of a misleading site and name for us. First of all environment top and the attention for the dog also top. Construction of the park has been stopped by the municipality and therefore only 5 to 6 chalets. Chalet would have been fine if there had been air conditioning. There are only 2 chalets with air conditioning, but according to the brochure you could rent a mobile air conditioner for 17.50 per day, but this is not possible there at all. Without airco it has been 36.6 degrees for 1 day. Had there been an airco possible the 2 stars for rooms (chalet) would have been a 4. The ad said there was a store, but it is closed, even the week of August 18. Brasserie Cheers is fine and the park staff is also fine. The entrance to the storage shed was closed, but after reporting it within the hour, it was fixed. One bathroom nice and spacious and one a bit cramped, but if there were towel hooks and a tray for your shampoo, not a very big problem. After staying a midweek they asked to fill out a survey, this done, but unfortunately no one responded. So price quality is disappointing, that's why after 3 weeks no response, put it on Google anyway.

Stayed at your campsite last formula 1 weekend. Paid almost €800 for 4 days. Very spicy for an old campsite. Entrance made you sad. Pawns between the barriers on the sand. Kind of a work in progress. At check-in we were assigned a different pitch, than we had booked. In our field there were neighbors left to another place after a rain shower. It was already pretty flooded. That night it rained heavily, in the morning the slippers really floated into our front tent. The whole field was a water fest. I have never been on such a bad campsite. Plumbing was old and dirty. The only thing that looked clean was the outdoor pool. Really a letdown, that whole campground. Old stuff. Store was empty and closed.

Afgelopen formule 1 weekend op jullie camping verbleven. Bijna €800,- betaald voor 4 dagen. Zeer pittig voor een oude camping. Entree werd je verdrietig van. Pionnen tussen de slagbomen op het zand. Soort werk in uitvoering. Ouwe meuk. Winkel was leeg en gesloten.

We have already been here three times for the Ditch GP - unfortunately, there has been a clear deterioration. - More expensive from year to year, but less service at the same time. - All-in-one price not justified, too little on offer. - Pitches difficult to recognize as signs are missing or barely legible. - Waste disposal not possible (container locked). - No shopping facilities on the pitch (no bread rolls etc.). - Demolition work on Saturday, therefore very loud. - No after-show party and no recognizable Formula 1 affiliation, although this was expected. Conclusion: Too bad - we had hoped for more and cannot recommend the place at the moment.
