Summary created out of 89 reviews

The park is strategically located close to the beach, bulb fields, and Amsterdam, making it ideal for cycling and day trips. Guests appreciate the spacious campsite and friendly staff, although reception experiences vary. The sanitary facilities are functional and usually clean but dated and in need of renovation. The park is transitioning into a chalet resort, resulting in construction activities and some areas appearing cluttered with outdated static caravans. The pool and restaurant receive positive feedback, but facilities like the shop are regularly closed and WiFi is insufficient.

What a joke this park is. When we arrived, the front desk was unstaffed. Some real estate agent spoke with us and referred us to a cell phone number posted on the door. The cottage still needed to be cleaned. There was a person walking around with a glass cleaner spray can, supposedly cleaning. What a mess in there. How can you rent out something like this for so much money? We left right away. We couldn’t even file a complaint. There was no one there—well, except for the park manager’s wife. But she wasn’t any help either. The noise from construction work at the park was driving us crazy. Tip: Do this kind of work during the winter months.
We called the main office, and of course, no one answered, so we were immediately referred to the disputes committee.
    Way to go, Marina Park.
We’re NEVER coming back here, and think twice before booking a stay here. Take note: here’s the FAKE response
A lousy response from this park. They’re just pretending to resolve the issue for the outside world. Unfortunately, Marina Park, we’re not falling for this.

    Goed gedaan hoor Marina park.

We stayed there for two nights in our RV—it was the most expensive campground we’ve ever been to, and what a shabby place. It’s really outrageous that they dare to charge so much for that. Electricity is 5 meters away, no water tap, a filthy restroom building, and no pleasant atmosphere. They don’t even know what time the laundromat closes during peak season (8:00 p.m.); they just lock the doors at 5:00 p.m., even while the washing machine is still running. Plus, there’s an old flyer with April and May opening hours still on the window—and it’s July. How committed are you to your campground, then? Once and never again.

The park is conveniently located for day trips to the beach towns of Zandvoort and Noordwijk, and you can also get to Amsterdam in no time. The park itself isn’t much to speak of; the campground is outdated and is being converted into a residential complex, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. The restrooms are very clean, and there are many “regular” older, polite guests. It’s ideal for day trips but not for staying all day.
