Nature lovers will also find plenty to discover: the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen and Zuid-Kennemerland National Park invite you for long walks and bike rides through dunes, forests and along tranquil lakes. With a bit of luck, you might even spot fallow deer. An ideal combination of peace, nature and a vibrant coastal atmosphere.

Cities, culture & history
In the immediate surroundings, you’ll find a rich mix of culture and history. Haarlem is just a fifteen-minute drive away and surprises with its historic center, museums, lively squares, and authentic boutiques. Amsterdam is also nearby: perfect for a day of canals, world-famous museums, and vibrant city energy. Those who love to delve into history can take a trip to the Ruins of Brederode in Santpoort-Zuid, an impressive medieval castle ruin. The region offers an inspiring contrast between urban vibrancy and historical charm.
Spring & Floral Splendor
In spring, the entire region transforms into a colorful landscape thanks to the famous Bollenstreek. By bike, you can discover vast fields full of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths – a breathtaking backdrop for a relaxing day trip. A definite must-see is a visit to the Keukenhof, just a 20-minute drive away. Here, you can admire millions of blooming tulips and beautifully designed themed gardens. The annual flower parade also adds extra color and atmosphere to the area. This time of year is perfect for nature lovers, families, and anyone who enjoys floral splendor and fresh outdoor air.
Action & Family Fun
If you're looking for action or fun activities with the family, this is the place to be. Motorsport fans can indulge themselves at Circuit Zandvoort, where spectacular events are regularly held and you can experience the circuit yourself during special track days. For children, a visit to Linnaeushof in Bennebroek is a real treat: Europe’s largest playground with hundreds of play equipment. In addition, charming coastal towns like Noordwijk and Katwijk are within easy reach for a day at the beach, water sports, or a bite to eat in a beach club. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We stayed with you for one night to try out our folding trailer. It’s a lovely spot. The restrooms were spotless. There was plenty of room for the dog to run around. And there were more than enough electrical outlets. Best regards from us

Before entering the entrance there is no parking space for vehicle + caravan, so you are obliged to drive through the double barrier of which only 1 goes up. Due to the limited space when entering, according to the manager it is with dusk and dawn that the barrier which remains closed is hit with consequent damage to caravan owners. If this is such a known problem then do something about it instead of saddling many owners with damage! Plumbing is reasonably clean (in quiet period) but falls apart from misery (ceiling must be supported with stamps otherwise it sags) floor he just not sink through but in some places like a trampoline. Originally really a caravan park which now wants to profile itself but not yet succeed.
