The Hill Lodge is a new luxury 4-bed accommodation. In a world where enough is considered the ideal, we strive for a life with fewer distractions and more focus on what really matters. The Swedes call this "Lagom" - just enough. This has led to this beautiful accommodation, with no frills, pure forms and natural materials. Where the perfect harmony between simplicity and comfort comes to life.

The park is beautifully situated in the middle of the forest and offers an enormous amount of play facilities for children. Guests are particularly enthusiastic about the excellent animation team, the varied range of playgrounds spread across the park, and the friendliness of the staff. The swimming pool with slides and the indoor play area (Giga Konijnenhol) are absolute crowd favorites, as is the large water playground that is hugely popular with children up to around 10 years old. The sanitary facilities are consistently cleaned and appreciated for their cleanliness.

    I paid about €2,000 for a week’s stay with my daughter and, to be honest
    , I had expected much more from it.

    The cottage felt dark and cheap.
    Virtually the entire house consists of untreated or
    unplaned wood and exposed particleboard.
    Because of this, we had to be very careful of
    splinters, which is anything but pleasant with a young child.

    The comfort was also disappointing. There were no comfortable chairs or lounge chairs with cushions to relax on. Outside, there’s once again a wooden picnic table and two hard, uncomfortable wooden chairs.

    Hygiene left much to be desired. It wasn’t very clean inside. There were lots of cobwebs on the porch, and every night I heard many mice scurrying across the roof.

    For a vacation park that focuses so heavily
    on families, I also found the entertainment program
    to be very limited. A daily mini-disco—say, half an hour long—would be a fun addition for many young children.

    The highlights for me were the pool and the restaurant. Unfortunately, those didn’t make up for the quality of the accommodations, especially considering the price I paid for this week.

    gezegd veel meer van verwacht.

    Het huisje voelde donker en goedkoop aan.
    Vrijwel het hele huis bestaat uit onbewerkt of
    ongeschuurd hout en zichtbare persplaten.
    Hierdoor moesten we erg uitkijken voor
    splinters, wat met een jong kind allesbehalve prettig is.

    Ook het comfort viel tegen. Er waren geen comfortabele stoelen of ligbedden met kussens om lekker te ontspannen. Buiten staat wederom een houten picknicktafel en 2 harde, niet fijne houten stoelen.

    De hygiéne liet te wensen over. Het was niet heel schoon binnen. Op de veranda zaten veel spinnenwebben en iedere avond hoorde ik vele muizen over het dak lopen.

    Voor een vakantiepark dat zich zo sterk richt
    op gezinnen vond ik het animatieprogramma
    bovendien erg beperkt. Een dagelijkse minidisco van bijvoorbeeld een half uur zou voor veel jonge kinderen een leuke aanvulling zijn.

    De pluspunten waren voor mij het zwembad en het restaurant. Helaas wogen die niet op tegen de kwaliteit van de accommodatie, zeker gezien de prijs die ik voor deze week heb betaald.

    A really nice campground. They do a lot for the kids. The campsites are also designed in a playful way. The pool is large and clean. The staff is friendly. We’ll be back next year, and hopefully the weather will be just as nice as it is now.

    Een erg leuke camping. Er wordt veel gedaan voor de kinderen. De kampeerplekken zijn ook speels ingericht. Het zwembad is groot en netjes. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Wij komen volgend jaar weer terug en hopelijk zit het weer net zo mee als nu.

    A vacation park that leaves nothing to be desired
    For €74.60 for a RV and 2 people, including visitor’s tax.
    The recreational activities were available; access was via facial recognition or by waiting in line.
    We visited our grandchildren on vacation: the place comes pretty close to a child’s dream.
    The campsites are shaded by trees. The grounds are large and spacious. You don’t even notice the total number of sites.
    The site is car-free 👍👍👍—just unpack and head out. Super well-organized.
    There’s simply nothing to complain about—even the price is reasonable!

    Für 74,60€ für WoMo und 2 Personen incl. Kurtaxe.
    Die Freizeitangebote waren nutzbar, Zugang über Gesichtserkennung oder ab in die Schlange.
    Wir haben die Enkel im Urlaub besucht: der Platz kommt einem Kindertraum recht nah.
    Die Stellplätze beschattet durch Baumbewuchs. Platz und Fläche groß und geräumig. Die Gesamtzahl der Plätze nimmt man gar nicht wahr.
    Platz ist autofrei 👍👍👍 auspacken und raus. Super geregelt.
    Es gibt schlichtweg nichts zu meckern, selbst der Preis ist angemessen!
