Camping De Haer is a hospitable family-run site near the picturesque village of Ootmarsum, ideally located in the beautiful Twente countryside with excellent cycling and walking routes. Guests especially praise the exceptionally clean and spacious sanitary facilities cleaned twice daily, and the friendly, helpful owners who create a relaxed atmosphere. The spacious pitches, swimming pool, playground, and restaurant with surprisingly good menu complete the experience. Some guests on pitches at the front experience traffic noise from the nearby road, and the use of payment tokens for hot water is not appreciated by everyone.

A very neat and well-maintained campground with beautiful sites.
The restaurant is no longer there due to the fire, but the owners got everything back up and running super fast.
Hats off to everyone who worked so hard on this.

Unfortunately, the reception and restaurant building at De Haer Campground was destroyed by fire this week. Despite this loss, the owners—together with various companies and under the close supervision of the Regional Safety Service—have been able to restore the grounds to pristine condition. It is therefore 100% safe for campground guests to stay here. Every effort has been made to restore the facilities as much as possible. I’ve rarely seen such dedication.

Deze week is helaas het receptie en restaurant gebouw op camping De Haer verloren gegaan door brand. Ondanks dit verlies hebben de eigenaren samen met allerlei bedrijven en onder nauw toezicht van de Regio-veiligheidsdienst het terrein weer superschoon kunnen maken. Het is daarom voor campinggasten dan ook 100 % veilig om hier te vertoeven. Men heeft er alles aan gedaan om de voorzieningen weer voor zover mogelijk te herstellen. Zelden zo'n inzet gezien.
Alle lof voor de eigenaren en hun helpers.
