This unique safari tent is fully equipped for the perfect glamping holiday! With the wooden details and the roll-up front, you get the real outdoor feeling of camping, with all the comfort of home. The tent features a cozy veranda with awning, so you can relax outside. The safaritent has a fully equipped kitchen with inventory and includes a four-burner secure gas stove, a fridge, a coffee maker, and a kettle. The safaritent also has its own toilet. In addition, there are two sleeping cabins in the tent. One cabin has a double bed and the other has two single beds. All beds include blankets and pillows.

Camping de Rammelbeek is a child-friendly family campsite with spacious pitches and a beautiful green environment near the German border. Guests particularly appreciate the enthusiastic animation team, the friendly staff and the good facilities such as the heated swimming pool and the cosy restaurant. The campsite offers plenty of entertainment for young children with playgrounds, an indoor play area and various activities. The sanitary facilities are clean and functional, although some buildings are dated and there are complaints about drainage and ventilation.

    The campground itself was basically okay, but the entire facility is clearly showing its age. That alone wouldn’t have been a problem for us at all.

    What really stood out to us in a negative way, however, was the cleanliness—especially in the indoor playground. There was dirt, trash, and packaging scattered around—there was even a soda can among the balls. Overall, the area unfortunately looked very neglected. The pictures speak for themselves.

    We were there from Friday to Sunday and didn’t notice any visible cleaning taking place during our stay, either in the indoor playground or in the swimming pool. Otherwise, we found the swimming pool itself to be perfectly fine.

    At a price of 177 € for a campsite for a weekend in the off-season, after the school holidays were already over, we simply expect more. This isn’t at all about the fact that the facility is older, but rather about cleanliness and maintenance—especially in areas primarily used by children.

    I also brought up the lack of cleanliness when checking out. The staff member was friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed by my feedback. Unfortunately, there was no real response or explanation regarding this.

    After this weekend, it was clear to us that we won’t be coming back. It’s a shame, because the place definitely has potential. For us, however, the value for money just wasn’t right under these circumstances.

    Der Campingplatz an sich war grundsätzlich okay, allerdings ist die gesamte Anlage schon deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das allein wäre für uns überhaupt kein Problem gewesen.

    Was uns allerdings sehr negativ aufgefallen ist, war die Sauberkeit – insbesondere im Indoor-Spielplatz. Dort lagen Schmutz, Müll und Verpackungen herum, zwischen den Bällen sogar eine Getränkedose. Insgesamt wirkte der Bereich leider sehr ungepflegt. Die Bilder sprechen hier für sich.

    Wir waren von Freitag bis Sonntag dort und konnten während unseres Aufenthalts weder im Indoor-Spielplatz noch im Schwimmbad eine erkennbare Reinigung feststellen. Das Schwimmbad an sich fanden wir ansonsten völlig in Ordnung.

    Bei einem Preis von 177 € für einen Stellplatz für ein Wochenende in der Nebensaison, nachdem die Ferien bereits vorbei waren, erwarten wir einfach mehr. Uns geht es dabei überhaupt nicht darum, dass die Anlage älter ist, sondern um Sauberkeit und Pflege – gerade in Bereichen, die hauptsächlich von Kindern genutzt werden.

    Beim Auschecken habe ich die mangelnde Sauberkeit auch angesprochen. Die Mitarbeiterin war dabei freundlich, wirkte mit meiner Rückmeldung allerdings etwas überfordert. Eine wirkliche Reaktion oder Erklärung darauf gab es daher leider nicht.

    Für uns stand nach diesem Wochenende fest, dass wir nicht noch einmal wiederkommen werden. Schade, denn grundsätzlich hat der Platz durchaus Potenzial. Für uns hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unter diesen Umständen aber leider nicht gestimmt.

    We had a pleasant stay at this campground. Communication both before and during our stay was very well organized. Responses via WhatsApp and email were quick and clear, which we really appreciated.

    The entertainment team also definitely deserves a compliment. They do a fantastic job and create a fun atmosphere for the kids. The restrooms at the campground are neat and well-maintained.

    The campsites vary quite a bit from one another. Some fields have a relatively high number of seasonal sites. It’s therefore a good idea to check in advance which type of site best suits your needs. It would be nice if that were made clear beforehand.

    We’d describe the restaurant more as a self-service takeout spot than as a real restaurant. The tables could also use a bit more attention when it comes to keeping them clean. Fortunately, there are plenty of nice restaurants in the immediate area. The campground store is fairly small and best suited for essential groceries or when you need something quickly.

    Another area for improvement is the communication regarding the included electricity allowance. ACSI lists 4 kWh, the digital meter seems to be set at 5 kWh, and the emails we received mention 6 kWh. It would be nice if this were consistently and clearly stated everywhere.

    All in all, a great campground with clean restrooms, fun activities, and, above all, excellent communication.

    Wij hebben een prettig verblijf gehad op deze camping. De communicatie vooraf én tijdens het verblijf is erg goed geregeld. Via WhatsApp en e-mail wordt snel en duidelijk gereageerd, wat wij als erg prettig hebben ervaren.

    Ook het animatieteam verdient zeker een compliment. Ze doen het ontzettend leuk en zorgen voor een gezellige sfeer voor de kinderen. Het sanitair op de camping is netjes en wordt goed schoongehouden.

    De kampeervelden verschillen behoorlijk van elkaar. Op sommige veldjes staan relatief veel seizoensplaatsen. Het is daarom goed om vooraf even te kijken welk type veld het beste bij je past. Het zou mooi zijn als dat vooraf duidelijk is.

    Het restaurant zouden wij eerder omschrijven als een afhaalrestaurant met zelfbediening dan als een echt restaurant. Ook het schoonhouden van de tafels kan wat meer aandacht krijgen. Gelukkig zijn er in de directe omgeving genoeg leuke restaurants te vinden. De campingwinkel is vrij klein en vooral geschikt voor de belangrijkste boodschappen of wanneer je even snel iets nodig hebt.

    Een ander verbeterpunt is de communicatie over het inbegrepen stroomverbruik. Via ACSI wordt 4 kWh genoemd, de digitale meter lijkt uit te gaan van 5 kWh en in de ontvangen e-mails wordt gesproken over 6 kWh. Het zou fijn zijn als dit overal hetzelfde en duidelijk wordt aangegeven.

    Al met al een fijne camping met schoon sanitair, leuke animatie en vooral erg goede communicatie.
