From the outside, this wooden chalet is most reminiscent of a Canadian log cabin. Not only that, inside the Boekhorst also has 6 wooden elements.     Nice accommodations, but unfortunately the cottage—and the dishes—weren’t very clean. It hadn’t been vacuumed at all, because there were still dog treats stuck in the rug. Other than that, it’s a lovely cottage by the water, and the lake is great for carp fishing right from your own dock. The park is otherwise well-maintained.

    Mooie accomodatie, helaas was het huisje evenals het servies niet echt schoon. Gestofzuigd was er helemaal niet want de honden koekjes zaten nog in het kleed. Verder mooi huisje bij het water, ook goed meer om op karpers te vissen zo vanaf je eigen steiger. Park is verder goed verzorgd.

    A beautiful, spacious house, especially on the ground floor. The bedrooms on the first floor are fairly large, though the sloped ceiling does cause some issues. There’s also a lovely park and good service.

    I’ve never rented a room here, but I have swum in the lake—it’s a big lake with a swimming and fishing area. It’s a beautiful lake where you can easily grab some fries; in the winter, it’s sometimes not great for swimming (I’ve tried).

    Ik heb hier nooit een kamer gehuurd maar wel in het meertje gezwommen, het meer is groot met een zwem en vis-gedeelte mooi meer waar je makkelijk een frietje kan halen in de winter kun je er soms niet zo goed zwemmen (heb geprobeerd)
