We stayed at this resort for 4 nights, and I have to say—after reading the reviews beforehand—I can confirm that our Apartment 260B was clean. I don’t consider things like cobwebs outside to be a big deal. The apartment was very well-equipped—great accommodations and clean as well. Things like dust on black furniture is normal to me—because anyone … who’s ever owned black furniture knows you could wipe it down every hour. One thing that did bother us, though, was that in the area of this vacation park where our apartment was located, there were a lot of construction workers from different countries who, of course, behaved a bit out of line—like walking around outside in boxer shorts, constantly spitting on the ground, and some even grilling daily on the apartment balcony—even though we knew it wasn’t allowed in the apartments…There are chalets equipped with grills, so they weren’t following the house rules, and there was constantly the smell of hashish in the air. I want to emphasize that not all the workers and technicians were like that, but quite a few were simply disgusting in their behavior. I wonder what a vacation park has to do with housing technicians especially since vacationers are paying a lot of money. I understand that the park has to make money, but then they should do a better job of making sure guests don’t feel harassed. The location and surroundings are really nice. Beautiful park and a lovely spot for the cottage (164). However, the maintenance and cleaning of the accommodation were inadequate. There were lots of cobwebs with insects along the ceiling edge, and the doors, walls, and kitchen were dirty. The rug had many stains, and the floors were very dusty with … damaged laminate. There was also a lot of swallow droppings outside on the patio. Even the broom had droppings on it. I’d come back for the location, but the maintenance is really inadequate. Read more Show less

Beautiful and peaceful

An absolutely peaceful place; every house and mobile home has a dock for fishing. Some areas are heavily overgrown with weeds. A fishing store with absolutely everything you need is about 10 minutes away.
We stayed there to relax after a visit to Amsterdam with our two kids (ages 6 and 15).
There’s a playground nearby; everything is quiet … and tidy.
The rooms could be a little cleaner, but the furnishings are high-quality.
If you’re looking to relax for a few days, this is the place for you.
