Salland Ridge
The Salland Ridge is one of the largest contiguous moorland areas in Europe. The hills were formed long ago, during the ice age. Nowadays you can hike, mountain bike, bike, and hike there as an adventurer or nature lover. There are numerous beautiful routes where you can be both active and clear your head. In August, an enchanting purple landscape emerges when the heather blooms.
Taste wine from Overijssel
An 8-minute drive from the vacation park, in Lemelerveld, you will find a real Dutch vineyard: the Wijnstaete. A day of fun in Hellendoorn Adventure Park
In the middle of the Sallandse woods, and less than fifteen minutes drive from the vacation park, is Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. The adventure park is a fun day out for young and old. There are more than 30 top attractions, including the wild water ride 'Wild Waterfall', the '3 Secret Towers' where you can climb and clamber, and the 'Flying Flame' roller coaster. You can also visit one of the many spectacular shows and there is an outside sliding track where you will have plenty of adventures. The park has several catering establishments where you can go for a small snack or dinner. Keep in mind that the park is closed during winter months.
Dining in the Gardens of Priona
This unique pop-up restaurant "The Garden Room" serves culinary dishes using products from the Gardens of Priona throughout the summer months. Depending on what is growing in the garden, the menu changes weekly and is always fresh. The restaurant itself is an old greenhouse which stands in the middle of the gardens. The Priona Gardens were created in 1970 with the goal that everything revolves around ecological balance. By now the Gardens of Priona are internationally known. The beautiful and very inspiring Gardens count more than 5000 different species of flowers and plants. You will find the Gardens of Priona and the Garden Room in Schuinesloot, about a half-hour drive from the vacation park.

Hof van Salland is secluded. Beautiful cottages and importantly, clean! Plenty of space everywhere. Parking at the cottage is sometimes tight, fortunately we had a small car. Floor heating I unfortunately could not feel, was happy with the rug that was there. Otherwise quite warm in the cottage. Little to nothing to do on the "park" itself. Restaurant moderate further there is really nothing. No store where you ff quickly what can get. That was disappointing. A real gem. Even nice souvenir you can not get.

Hof van Salland ligt afgelegen. Mooie huisjes en belangrijk, schoon! Overal voldoende ruimte. Parkeren bij het huisje is soms krap, wij hadden gelukkig een kleine auto. Vloerverwarming heb ik helaas niet kunnen voelen, was blij met het kleed dat er lag. Verder wel behagelijk warm in het huisje. Weinig tot niets te doen op het "park" zelf. Restaurant matig verder is er eigelijk niets. Geen winkeltje waar je ff gauw wat kan halen. Dat viel tegen. Echt een gemis. Zelf leuk souvenir kan je er niet halen.

Quietly located attractive park in an area where t is beautiful cycling / walking. Beautiful bungalow with all the trimmings, luxury furniture. Fine, homely restaurant where you can have lunch, dinner or just a drink. In the pool bar you can have breakfast in the morning. Breakfast and dinner can also be picked up to eat in the bungalow.we would love to come back to this park.

Rustig gelegen sfeervol park in een omgeving waar t mooi fietsen/ wandelen is. Mooie bungalow met alles erop en eraan, luxe meubels. Fijn, huiselijk restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt lunchen, dineren of even wat drinken. In de poolbar kun je smorgens ontbijten. Ontbijt en diner is ook af te halen om in de bungalow te eten.wij komen graag weer terug op dit park.
