Salland Ridge
The Salland Ridge is one of the largest contiguous moorland areas in Europe. The hills were formed long ago, during the ice age. Nowadays you can hike, mountain bike, bike, and hike there as an adventurer or nature lover. There are numerous beautiful routes where you can be both active and clear your head. A day of fun in Hellendoorn Adventure Park
In the middle of the Sallandse woods, and less than fifteen minutes drive from the vacation park, is Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. The adventure park is a fun day out for young and old. There are more than 30 top attractions, including the wild water ride 'Wild Waterfall', the '3 Secret Towers' where you can climb and clamber, and the 'Flying Flame' roller coaster. You can also visit one of the many spectacular shows and there is an outside sliding track where you will have plenty of adventures. The park has several catering establishments where you can go for a small snack or dinner. Keep in mind that the park is closed during winter months.
Dining in the Gardens of Priona
This unique pop-up restaurant "The Garden Room" serves culinary dishes using products from the Gardens of Priona throughout the summer months. Depending on what is growing in the garden, the menu changes weekly and is always fresh. The restaurant itself is an old greenhouse which stands in the middle of the gardens. The Priona Gardens were created in 1970 with the goal that everything revolves around ecological balance. By now the Gardens of Priona are internationally known. The beautiful and very inspiring Gardens count more than 5000 different species of flowers and plants. You will find the Gardens of Priona and the Garden Room in Schuinesloot, about a half-hour drive from the vacation park.

Superb (practically car-free) villa park in the middle of beautiful Salland. Where you can do great walking and cycling in the neighborhood. We were at the park in 6 XXL wellness cottage with indoor sauna, whirlpool and infrared shower. Really nice. Heated outdoor pool (open every morning also in winter) is really delicious!

Schitterend (praktisch autovrij) villapark midden in het mooie Salland. Waar je geweldig kunt wandelen en fietsen in de buurt. Wij zaten op het park in 6 XXL welness huisje met inpandige sauna, whirlpool en infrarood douche. Echt heel fijn. Verwarmde buitenzwembad (elke ochtend open ook in de winter) is echt heerlijk!

Stayed for a week in a luxurious XXL wellness house. Enjoyed the house, the park, the beautiful surroundings in autumn colors and the lovely heated pool. Will definitely go back again.

Wonderful midweek in peace relaxing, hiking and geieten. Too bad that just this week the restaurant was closed, but you have to do some maintenance and painting. Nevertheless, highly recommended!

Been to Hof van Salland for the 4th time. We enjoyed a lovely wellness cottage in a nice and quiet park. It rained a lot those days, but that did not matter to us. The cottage is fully equipped, everything clean and tidy. We had a delicious meal at restaurant the Hazelaer. We had a nice rest and look forward to our next visit!

Voor de 4de keer bij Hof van Salland geweest. We genoten in een heerlijk wellness huisje op een fijn en rustig park. Het regende heel veel die dagen, maar dat maakte ons niet uit. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, alles schoon en netjes. We hebben heerlijk gegeten bij restaurant de Hazelaer. Wij zijn lekker tot rust gekomen en kijken uit naar een volgend bezoek!

Celebrated our vacation here this week with 6 people in a wellness cottage. Lovely on the edge of the park with a beautiful view over the countryside with an oasis of calm. Delicious. As for the cottage are a few small things: * a refrigerator see buzzes. * An oven that makes quite a lot of noise when used * A dishwasher that is not really user-friendly * The mosquito nets had holes in them, making it easy for insects to get in. * temperature in the cottage was very high. There are thermostats in the downstairs bedroom and the upstairs bedroom but we couldn't figure out exactly how they worked. We had turned them lower but the temperature did not drop * on the floor are tiles that are uneven (so they are not laid but so is the tile of itself) and this makes it difficult with your chairs (which have wheels under them) to push yourself. Also in terms of hygiene you can have a discussion about this. These are all points that we could have gone to the reception with and maybe should have, but we didn't really bother with them so that's why we didn't. Other than that, it is an incredibly beautiful park and the staff are super friendly.

Van de week hier onze vakantie gevierd met 6 personen in een wellness huisje. Heerlijk aan de rand van het park met een prachtig uitzicht over de landerijen met een oase van rust. Heerlijk. Wat betreft het huisje zijn een paar kleine dingetjes: * een koelkast zie zoemt. * een oven die behoorlijk veel lawaai maakt als hij gebruikt is * een vaatwasser die niet echt gebruiksvriendelijk is * in de horren zaten gaten waardoor het voor insecten makkelijk is om binnen te komen * temperatuur in het huisje was erg hoog. In de slaapkamer beneden en in de slaapkamer boven hangen thermostaten maar wij konden niet ontdekken hoe die nu precies werkte. We hadden ze lager gedraaid maar de temperatuur zakte niet * op de vloer liggen tegels die ongelijk zijn (zo zijn ze niet gelegd maar zo is de tegel van zichzelf) en hierdoor is het lastig om met je stoelen (waar wielen onder zitten) jezelf aan te schuiven. Ook qua hygiëne kan je hier een discussie over loslaten. Dit zijn allemaal puntjes waar we mee naar de receptie hadden kunnen gaan en misschien ook wel hadden moeten doen, maar we hebben ons er eigenlijk niet aan gestoord dus vandaar dat we dat niet gedaan hebben. Verder is het een ontzettend mooi park en de medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk.
