Salland Ridge

The Salland Ridge is one of the largest contiguous moorland areas in Europe. The hills were formed long ago, during the ice age. Nowadays you can hike, mountain bike, bike, and hike there as an adventurer or nature lover. There are numerous beautiful routes where you can be both active and clear your head. A day of fun in Hellendoorn Adventure Park

In the middle of the Sallandse woods, and less than fifteen minutes drive from the vacation park, is Avonturenpark Hellendoorn. The adventure park is a fun day out for young and old. There are more than 30 top attractions, including the wild water ride 'Wild Waterfall', the '3 Secret Towers' where you can climb and clamber, and the 'Flying Flame' roller coaster. You can also visit one of the many spectacular shows and there is an outside sliding track where you will have plenty of adventures. The park has several catering establishments where you can go for a small snack or dinner. Keep in mind that the park is closed during winter months.

Dining in the Gardens of Priona

This unique pop-up restaurant "The Garden Room" serves culinary dishes using products from the Gardens of Priona throughout the summer months. Depending on what is growing in the garden, the menu changes weekly and is always fresh. The restaurant itself is an old greenhouse which stands in the middle of the gardens. The Priona Gardens were created in 1970 with the goal that everything revolves around ecological balance. By now the Gardens of Priona are internationally known. The beautiful and very inspiring Gardens count more than 5000 different species of flowers and plants. You will find the Gardens of Priona and the Garden Room in Schuinesloot, about a half-hour drive from the vacation park.

    We came in very nice and clean villa in court of salland, there was a sauna and whirlpool in the villa, we enjoyed, all amenities were available, We especially appreciate the peace and quiet, beautiful park, lots of greenery and beautiful trees, nature and all kinds of birds you hear around you, the pool was blissful, nice swim and lie on the loungers to enjoy the sun, we had 2 times luxurious breakfast, exceeded all our expectations, all kinds of bread, fruit, yogurt, an egg and much more, the staff was very friendly and helpful, we have dined the last evening on the park itself in the restaurant, the food was excellent, blissful, in short, we have come to rest and enjoyed everything, we will definitely come back again to relax,

    Wij kwamen in hele mooie en schone villa in hof van salland, er was een sauna en whirlpool in de villa, hebben we heerlijk van genoten, alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig, We waarderen vooral de rust en stilte, prachtig park, veel groen en mooie bomen, de natuur en allerlei vogels hoor je om je, heen, het zwembad was zalig, lekker gezwommen en op de ligbedjes gelegen om van de zon te genieten, we hadden 2 maal luxueus ontbijt, overtrof al onze verwachtingen, allerlei soorten broodjes, fruit, yoghurt, een eitje en nog veel meer, het personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wij hebben de laatste avond gedineerd op het park zelf in het restaurant, het eten was voortreffelijk, zalig, kortom, wij zijn tot rust gekomen en overal van genoten, we komen zeker nog een keer terug om te onthaasten,

    Super park if you are looking for peace and quiet, houses very nice and in very good condition, had the 2 and the 6 xxl and were more than satisfied. Everything was always very clean and when our arrival was canceled in winter because of Corona, we were very accommodating, simply top and we are already looking forward to being back in mid-May, have now been to the Salland courtyard for the 12th time in May 2026 and have now also registered twice with the app 👍simply great 👍

    Super Park wenn man Ruhe sucht, Häuser sehr schön und in einen sehr guten Zustand, hatten das 2 er und das 6er xxl und waren mehr als zufrieden. Es war immer alles sehr sauber und als im Winter die Anreise wegen Corona von uns abgesagt wurde ist man uns sehr entgegen gekommen, einfach Top und wir freuen uns schon auf mitte Mai wieder da zu sein, sind nun im Mai 2026 das 12 mal im Hof von Salland gewesen und nun auch 2 x mit der App angemeldet 👍einfach super 👍
