Inside, you’ll find a warm and inviting living and dining area where you can relax after a day outside. Settle into the comfortable seating with a good book or enjoy a long meal at the dining table. The well-equipped kitchen makes cooking easy, with an electric cooker, coffee machine, combination microwave, dishwasher and a fridge-freezer – perfect for simple breakfasts or full dinners.

The house has two thoughtfully designed bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed and another with a double sofa bed. It’s ideal for couples, small families or friends travelling together. The modern bathroom and private sauna add a real touch of wellness to your stay. After a walk in the fresh air, there’s nothing better than warming up in your own sauna.

Outside, you can unwind on the spacious terrace or sink into the lounge set in the garden. Sip your morning coffee while listening to the birds, or enjoy a drink at the end of the day as the sun goes down – this is what slow living in the countryside feels like.

Nature lovers are in the right place here. Nationaal Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug is nearby, with rolling hills, heathlands and endless walking and cycling trails. For a dose of history, visit the Holten Canadian War Cemetery, a moving and beautifully maintained memorial to WWII soldiers.
