From Glamping De Witte Berg you drive in 10 minutes to the parking lot of the nature reserve and make the most beautiful walks through 365 hectares of hills, meadows and hay fields. A beautiful stretch of green, where there are always new beautiful things to see! Walk along soothing streams, admire the historic farms and enjoy the tranquility of "the garden of the Netherlands. In addition to the various hiking trails, you can also find several bicycle routes in the nature reserve, so grab your own bike if necessary or rent one at the glamping site. Motorized traffic is not allowed into the park, making it extra peaceful here.

Drive 20 minutes to our eastern neighbor and be welcomed by cozy shopping streets. Rent a boat and discover the city from the water! A bit to the south you'll find Oldenzaal. Located a 20-minute drive away, this is another fun option for a day trip to a city. The atmospheric city center is bursting with restaurants, stores and beautiful buildings.

Cycling and hiking are, of course, things we like to do in nature. But how fun is it to go into the region in a unique way? How about an old-timer tractor, with which you will discover the beautiful Twente countryside? If you are with 8 people, book a trip to the campsite! There are also vehicles for hire through Twente Toer, such as colorful TukTuk's or baby carriages that you can use to get into the mud.

Out and about with the children

Are you on vacation with the family? A 10-minute drive away is Speeltuin Morskieft, where there are playgrounds for children and tracks for a game of 'Glow in the dark' miniature golf. Or find your way through corn maze Fleringen together. After a 15-minute drive, you're already among the corn. Fancy some adrenaline? Enter the roller coaster at Avonturenpark Hellendoorn or Slagharen, which you can drive to in just under an hour.

    We stayed at this campground with our RV for a week and really enjoyed it!

    A nice, spacious site, partly shaded by a tree.

    The restrooms are neat and clean. One of the restroom buildings also has washing machines (and dryers). We only used the washing machine once. No complaints at all. It works with a debit card system, so you don’t have to stop by the front desk for tokens or anything.

    There’s a swimming pool that’s open when the weather is nice. The water is a pleasant temperature.

    The surrounding area is also great for a lovely walk through the nearby nature reserve, which is accessible on foot from the campground.

    The restaurant with its terrace is definitely worth a visit! We had a delicious meal and drinks there.

    The Wi-Fi was good enough to watch TV in the evening.

    Finally, a big compliment to the staff—they’re friendly and enthusiastic, even in the sweltering heat. Top-notch!

    We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again.

    We hebben een week met onze caravan op deze camping gestaan en dit is super goed bevallen!

    Mooie ruime plek, deels schaduw onder de boom.

    Het sanitair is netjes en schoon. In 1 van de sanitair gebouwen zijn ook wasmachines (en drogers) aanwezig. We hebben alleen 1x gebruik gemaakt van de wasmachine. Niks op aan te merken. Werkt met pinpas systeem, dus je hoeft niet langs de receptie voor muntjes of iets.

    Er is een zwembad aanwezig die ook open kan tijdens mooi weer. Het water heeft een aangename temperatuur.

    De omgeving is ook super voor mooie wandeling door het nabij gelegen natuurgebied en te belopen vanaf de camping.

    Het restaurant met terras is ook zeker een bezoek waard! We hebben er heerlijk gegeten en geborreld.

    Op de wifi konden we ‘s avonds prima een televisie kijken.

    Dan als laatste een compliment naar het personeel want deze zijn vriendelijk en enthousiast, ook met de hele warme temperaturen. Top!

    We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad en komen graag nog eens terug.
