Vakantiepark Mölke is characterised by exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who truly make guests feel welcome. The beautiful location along the Regge offers peace and nature, with plenty of walking and cycling opportunities in the area. The park provides excellent dining with tasteful food and a varied entertainment programme for children, while the numerous playgrounds ensure plenty of fun. Points of attention are the cleanliness of some accommodations and sanitary facilities, as well as the swimming pool which guests experience as dated and on the small side.

    First of all, a specific note about Cottage 443, mainly as a warning/reference for future vacationers. This is a children’s/baby bungalow that sleeps 5 people. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the final cleaning had been done only half-heartedly; the living room was still littered with food scraps and crumbs. We reported this, and it … wasn’t until several hours (!) later that the issue was resolved. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning; the overall condition of the cottage was very poor: dirty, dusty, full of cobwebs, mold in the bathroom and kitchen, dirty bedding, and food scraps between the table slats and in the couch—but actually, the “en suite” baby room was the worst. The baby crib was positioned under a double outlet, only one of which had a child safety cover—scandalous! Standing up, the little one could easily reach it. We then moved the crib aside only to find even more junk underneath. That was the last straw for us. We reported it again to the front desk, where we were offered the option to switch accommodations—a nice gesture. The ease with which this option was offered did suggest that this happened often… which is also evident from other reviews. All in all, it cost us another day—having to find a different cottage and move, all while traveling with two children. Far from “slow living” and “no hassle.” To make up for it, of course, there were no extra charges for the more luxurious option, and we also got a free ride on the electric boat, but we’re still mostly disappointed. A midweek vacation effectively turned into just two good days of vacation.
    The restaurant is fine, and the electric boat is fun too. The pool is outdated but adequate. The park has a lot of potential—or is it a case of faded glory?

    Advice: invest in cleaning and maintenance. I don’t think there are any follow-up inspections here, or that anyone even checks the place at all. That’s how you prevent these kinds of disappointments. The marketing doesn’t match reality.

    Allereerst een specifieke stukje voor huisje 443, vooral als waarschuwing/ referentie voor komende vakantiegangers. Gaat om een kinder /baby bungalow 5 personen. Bij binnenkomst viel gelijk al op dat de laatste schoonmaak mondjesmaat was, de woonkamer lag nog vol etensresten / kruimels. We hebben dit gemeld en enkele uren(!) later is dit pas verholpen. Helaas was dit slechts het begin; de algehele staat van het huisje was zeer matig: vies, stoffig, vol met spinnenwebben, schimmel in badkamer en keuken,vieze bedlinnen en etensresten tussen de tafelplanken en in de bank, maar eigenlijk was de 'en suite' babykamer nog het ergste. Baby bedje stond onder dubbel stopcontact, waarvan maar 1 kinderbeveiliging had - schandalig! Rechtopstaand kon de kleine er zo bij. Vervolgens bedje verschoven om daaronder nog meer troep te vinden. Voor ons was de maat vol. Wederom gemeld bij de receptie waarbij we de mogelijkheid kregen om van accomodatie te wisselen, een prima gebaar. Het gemak waarmee deze optie werd aangeboden liet wel doorschemeren dat dit vaker gebeurde... wat ook wel blijkt uit andere reviews. Al met al kost het weer een dag, anders huisje zoeken, verhuizen en dat met 2 kinderen. Verre van "slow living" en "geen gedoe". Ter compensatie uiteraard geen extra kosten voor de luxere variant en daarnaast een gratis tochtje met de fluisterboot, maar toch overheerst teleurstelling bij ons. Een midweek vakantie verandert in effectief maar 2 goede dagen vakantie.
    Restaurant is prima, fluisterboot is ook leuk. Zwembad is verouderd maar voldoet. Het park heeft veel potentie, of is het vergane glorie?

    Advies: investeer in je schoonmaak en onderhoud. Ik geloof niet dat hier nacontrole plaatsvindt, of überhaupt de boel eens nagelopen wordt. Zo voorkom je dit soort teleurstellingen. Marketing matcht niet met de realiteit.

    What a wonderful park! Not too crowded, but equipped with all the amenities. Our 2-year-old had a great time at the playgrounds (both outdoor and indoor) and the pool. They’ve also thought of the parents, with delicious coffee (available to go) and great food at the restaurant. During the toddler weeks, they organized fun activities. Highly recommended for families with young children!

    Heerlijk park! Niet te massaal, maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. Onze 2 jarige heeft zich heel goed vermaakt in de speeltuinen (buiten en binnen) en het zwembad. Ook aan de ouders wordt gedacht met lekkere koffie (ook to go) en lekker eten in het restaurant. Tijdens de dreumesweken werden er leuke activiteiten geregeld. Aanrader met kleine kinderen!

    We had a wonderful week with great weather. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub.
    Beautiful surroundings that are perfect for biking and hiking. Good communication, and if there’s a problem, you get help quickly through the app.
