    We had a very successful afternoon at the Sallandshoeve. We were with a party of 22 people including 9 children. We bowled for 1 hour and then had an excellent buffet. There was also enough attention to the children and 1 person who was gluten free.

    Our New Year's Eve at Sallandshoeve was a special experience. Upon entering houses 41 and 42, we were immediately greeted by a musty smell so persistent that our washing machine at home is still fighting with it today. The maintenance of the cottages seems to have gone on vacation years ago and never returned. From the flooring to the plumbing, everything is screaming for a retirement. If you like vintage (including the accompanying backyard maintenance), this is your place. A unique experience, but we'll kindly skip next year.

    Onze jaarwisseling in de Sallandshoeve was een bijzondere ervaring. Bij binnenkomst in huis 41 en 42 werden we direct begroet door een muffe geur die zo hardnekkig is dat onze wasmachine thuis er nu nog ruzie mee heeft. Het onderhoud van de huisjes lijkt al jaren geleden met vakantie te zijn gegaan en is nooit meer teruggekomen. Van de vloer tot het sanitair: alles schreeuwt om een pensioenregeling. Als je van vintage houdt (inclusief het bijbehorende achterstallig onderhoud), is dit je plek. Een unieke ervaring, maar we slaan volgend jaar vriendelijk over.
