    We had higher expectations for this campground. 3 stars for a number of pros and cons. Starting on a positive note:

    + A small, well-organized campground with a fun playground up front. It’s close to a road, but that wasn’t a problem for us. There was very little traffic, so we could let our kids ride their bikes without any worries.
    + The activities they organized were fun: a foam party, bingo, and a color run.
    + The lady at the front desk was very friendly to us. She and her colleagues arranged compensation for us without much trouble (see cons).
    + Nice little play lake.
    + The restaurant at the park was fine. Bowling was fun; we ordered fries and pizza, which were ready right on time.

    Now for the cons.
    - The biggest problem for us was the dirty and run-down cottage (No. 106). 85% of the cottages looked well-maintained from the outside, but ours had weeds up to our knees. A lot was broken inside the cottage itself, and the dryer was dirty—which is a shame because you pay a lot of money during peak season. We did receive compensation, though.
    - The boys broke out in a rash after touching the water in the lake.
    - The staff at the front desk were unhelpful and uncooperative, especially when our friends had problems or questions. They couldn’t provide a shade canopy when it was over 37 degrees; when asked about go-kart rentals, they just kept repeating that you have to do it through the app (take a moment to think things through when you notice your guests are having trouble figuring it out), and there were other similar examples. In short: be more helpful! Discuss it, take a look—what’s a possible solution? This was a real issue throughout the entire vacation.
    - The pool and indoor playground are a joke; fix this up.
    - General park maintenance isn’t great. There was a broken post by the front gate the whole week. Maintenance staff are just sitting around smoking cigarettes, not paying attention, and driving around aimlessly.
    - Landscaping maintenance is poor. Lots of weeds; it looks a bit run-down. Hire a good landscaping company in Sallandshoeve.

    Wij hadden hogere verwachtingen van dit park. 3 sterren voor een aantal plussen en minnen. Positief beginnend:

    + Kleinschalig, overzichtelijk park met leuk speeltoestel vooraan. Wel vlak bij een weg, maar geen probleem voor ons. Autoluw, we konden onze kinderen fijn zonder zorgen laten fietsen.
    + De animatie die ze organiseerden was leuk, schuimparty, bingo, collorrun.
    + De mevrouw aan de receptie was tegen ons erg vriendelijk. Zij en collega's hebben voor ons compensatie geregeld zonder veel problemen (zie minpunten).
    + Leuk speelmeertje.
    + Restaurant op het park was prima. Bowlen was leuk, patat besteld en pizza, was netjes op tijd klaar.

    Dan de minnen.
    - Het grootste probleem voor ons was het vieze en uitgeleefd huisje (nr. 106). 85% van de huisjes leek van buitenaf netjes onderhouden, bij ons knietjeshoog onkruid. Veel stuk in het huisje zelf, vieze droger, jammer want je betaald veel geld in het hoogseizoen. Wel compensatie gekregen.
    - De jongens zaten vol uitslag na aanraking met water in het meertje.
    - Stug en niet meedenken bij de receptie, vooral bij problemen en vragen van vrienden van ons. Geen schaduwdoek aan kunnen bieden bij 37+ graden, bij vragen rondom skelter verhuur alleen blijven herhalen dat je via de app dit moet doen (kijk en denk dan even mee als je merkt dat je gasten er niet uit komen) en zo nog vergelijkbare voorbeelden. Kortom: denk mee! Overleg, kijk, wat is een mogelijke oplossing. Dit was echt een ding de hele vakantie.
    - zwembad en binnenspeeltuin een aanfluiting, knap dit op.
    - algemeen onderhoud park niet top. Er lag de hele week een afgebroken paaltje bij de poort vooraan. Onderhoudspersoneel zit relaxed een sigaretje te roken, ziet niks, rijden een beetje rond.
    - onderhoud groenvoorziening slecht. Veel onkruid, beetje armoedige uitstraling. Huur een goed groen bedrijf in Sallandshoeve.

    Helaas voor ons niet weer.

    A beautiful park in Salland. Our accommodation (Palthe Premium for 4 people) was just as shown in the pictures, recently renovated, and in excellent condition. Unfortunately, there were no window coverings. You can enjoy a drink in the park, and the play pond is a wonderful spot for a day “at home”!

    Mooi park in het Salland. Ons verblijf (Palthe Premium 4 pers) was zoals afgebeeld, net vernieuwd en prima in orde. Raambekleding was er helaas niet. Je kunt op het park gezellig borrelen en de speelvijver is een heerlijke plek voor een dagje “thuis”!
