We booked a campsite with a private bathroom—on the spur of the moment on our way back. When we arrived, we took a look at the campsite and were disappointed. Not only did I have to spend over 30 minutes picking up small pieces of trash from the site (bottle caps, leftover sausage, rubber bands, etc.), but we were especially shocked by the access road to the site. Because of the last-minute booking, we were assigned a spot in a corner. So far, so good. However, our trailer is 2.50 wide and 7.50 meters long. Five turns—two of which were more like sharp corners—made getting there quite difficult. We’re good drivers, so we’ve NEVER had to back out of a spot before. But today we did. Impossible. We should have known this before booking. Also, since there were no boundary markers—such as hedges, posts, or the like—for the individual spots, everyone set up their camp as they saw fit. At the corner, another camper had set up their rig in such a way that it was impossible to leave the site.
What we didn’t like was that about 10 campers had set up on this large “plot”—with a small playground right in the middle. We had virtually no privacy—everyone could see what everyone else was eating, etc.—and we felt constantly watched.
Our kids used the mini Land Rovers. That was really cool. We didn’t use the swimming lake because of the weather—but it looked nice. We used the takeout and restaurant—unfortunately, the wait was a bit too long and the meals were incomplete, though the food tasted good. The reception staff was friendly and helpful.
Conclusion: A pretty nice place, but unfortunately we won’t be returning due to the narrow access road and lack of privacy.this is a translation, click here for the original

We stayed here for a week with our kids and dog. First, the negatives: the safe was broken, the house wasn’t cleaned very well, and the campground’s food is good but, unfortunately, quite expensive. A 0.5-liter wheat beer for 8.70 is quite a shock.
But there’s a lot of positive feedback to share, and ultimately I’d like to explain why I’m giving it 4 stars: There are different “areas” for camping, safari tents, bungalows, and RVs. For kids, the safari tents alone are an adventure, and the many on-site playgrounds keep them entertained. The swimming pool can be fully opened up to become an outdoor pool. Our “big girl” took a diving course there. The fee was only 10 euros—great!! There are plenty of activities and entertainment options for kids. The lake with its beach and inflatable iceberg is also great for the kids. We felt very comfortable there and have nothing but good things to say about the service. Although the park is right on the border, not everyone here speaks German, so if you don’t speak English, please don’t expect the whole world to speak German. It wasn’t a problem for us. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding area. You can even take your dog to the zoo in Nordhorn. All in all, we’ll definitely come back here and maybe try staying in a mobile home next time.this is a translation, click here for the original

The campground itself is fine, though there are a lot of English-speaking staff members. Don’t expect much from the ponds in terms of fishing—you have to walk down about 3 meters before you reach the water, and it’s pretty stagnant with only a few fish. The entertainment is pretty good. The campground is neat and clean.

Animatie is aardig goed. Park is netjes schoon.
