General information

Welcome to the Slowlodge! This sustainable and carefully decorated accommodation is an ode to the slow living principle: slow down, find stillness, connect. Here, you don't have to do anything for a while. Just be. Alone. Or together. In nature. In complete tranquility.

The Slowlodge is suitable for 1 to 5 people and is fully equipped with all conveniences. Large windows bring the outdoors inside, while natural materials and soft colors create a warm, soothing atmosphere. In the cozy living room, you'll find a comfortable sitting area and dining area, with views of the greenery. The open kitchen is fully equipped, so you can also cook here mindfully and with simplicity. There are two bedrooms: one with two single beds and one with two single beds and a loft bed. Ideal for families or friends.

Outside, your own veranda awaits, where you can start the day with a cup of tea in the morning sun, or end it by the fire under a starry sky. Around the lodge, there is plenty of space, greenery, and silence – only the songs of birds or the rustling of the trees remind you how close to nature you are here.

At Zomerlicht, there is plenty to do or just enough time to do nothing at all. On weekends, holidays, and during vacations, there is a program with (children's) yoga, foraging walks, meditation, treasure hunts, and campfires. In addition, you can enjoy the natural, wooded surroundings.

    Fine experience had, it was cold for the time of year, but the wood was dry so we were able to fire up the stove for a while. There was also a small 'wildlife' problem, which was nicely fixed. Nice experience overall!

    My son (ten years young) and I so enjoyed spring break in the Yurt at Summer Light!!! We did have some spring weather (16 to 20 degrees). During the day he was able to play and climb in the trees. In the evening we turned on the wood stove and slept in. The mattress of the double bed also slept wonderfully, nice and firm and big enough. Ideally, my son wanted to live there. I also enjoyed the peace and quiet and I haven't seen the starry sky so clearly for a long time and heard so many different birds. In the summer vacations we will definitely come again at Zomerlicht ☀️

    Mijn zoon (tien jaar jong) en ik hebben zo genoten in de voorjaarsvakantie van de Yurt op Zomerlicht!! Wij hadden dan ook wel al een beetje lente weer (16 tot 20 graden). Overdag kon hij lekker spelen en klimmen in de bomen. 'S avonds deden we de houtkachel aan en sliepen we lekker in. Het matras van het tweepersoonbed sliep ook heerlijk, lekker stevig en groot genoeg. Het liefst wilde mijn zoon daar wonen. Ik genoot ook van de rust en ik heb lang niet zo duidelijk de sterrenhemel gezien en zoveel verschillende vogels gehoord. In de zomervakantie komen we zeker nog een keer bij Zomerlicht ☀️

    We enjoyed everything that was there . Despite the severe cold ( -9), especially since the fire did not want to stay on properly. Dennis thank you for keeping trying and that it finally worked out🙏😄. Asha thank you for the very nice yoga class. Beautiful yurt, decoration and the energy was right with us 5 jes.
