    Ik merk dat ik mijn beoordeling na een paar nachten verblijf toch moet aanpassen van vijf naar vier sterren.
    Laat ik vooropstellen dat dit niets te maken heeft met de faciliteiten of het personeel. Beide zijn uitstekend: vriendelijk, behulpzaam en alles is netjes verzorgd.

    De reden voor de aangepaste beoordeling is de grote hoeveelheid elektrische scooters en steps die met hoge snelheid (ongeveer 25 km/u) over de voetpaden rijden. Meerdere keren heb ik mijn hart vastgehouden omdat mijn kind bijna werd geraakt. Voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen voelt dit echt onveilig. En ik zie elke ochtend honden plassen tegen het speeltoestel waar mijn 4 jarig kind op speelde..nu natuurlijk niet meer.

    Mijn suggestie aan de directie is om hier beleid op te maken en de snelheid of het gebruik van deze voertuigen op de voetpaden te reguleren. Dat zou de veiligheid aanzienlijk verbeteren en de ervaring voor gezinnen nog prettiger maken.

    UNACCEPTABLE DISCRIMINATION AND HOSTILITY:
    I had a valid, confirmed booking at Camping De Krabbeplaat, but when I arrived at the reception at 2:00 PM to pay, I was met with shocking hostility. The man at the desk, who identified himself as the owner, abruptly told me there was no confirmation anymore, "just a cancellation instead."
    When I asked why, he openly discriminated against me in front of other customers. He stated loudly that he did not want "people like me and your people" at his campsite, explicitly targeting my ethnicity as an Irish Traveller.
    I was left completely humiliated, upset, and shocked that a hospitality business could treat someone this way purely based on their background. Because of his sudden refusal, we were forced to find last-minute alternative accommodation elsewhere.
    This behavior is completely unacceptable and a clear violation of Dutch anti-discrimination laws. A formal report has been officially filed with the national discrimination authority (RADAR / Discriminatie.nl). Avoid this campsite if you value equality and basic human respect.

    ❗️In response to the owners comment: I can assure you that I have been up and down the Netherlands, Belgium and France for the past two months and not one campsite has refused me entry or discriminated against me, until yesterday with you. After you refused me entry, I went to another campsite in the Netherlands that let me in-so your comment is wrong and you need to stop trying to justify yourself. You discriminated against me and it will backfire on you now as you have been reported and I will be taking this as far as I can. What you did, was disgusting and degrading-I have never been treated like that in my life.
