The park’s location and surroundings are truly beautiful. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the water, and every house has its own parking space
Unfortunately, those were the only positives.
The chalet itself was in poor condition. Cleanliness upon arrival: It was extremely dirty. There were crumbs everywhere (floor, drawers) and dust (remote control, range hood). Handles, light switches, surfaces, and the gas stove were sticky, and the kitchen chairs were worn out. The refrigerator was so dirty that I had to clean it thoroughly before using it. Out of disgust, we didn’t use the kitchen at all (except for the sink after a thorough cleaning) or the dishes; luckily, we had brought our own supplies.
Heat & Insects: We had a week of extreme heat in June with unbearable temperatures inside the house; there’s no air conditioning. It was impossible to air out the place at night because only the bedroom window had a mosquito screen. When we asked for a fan, we were simply told we could buy one at a hardware store (though they were sold out everywhere due to the weather). The beds under the roof are unsuitable for children because of the heat that builds up there and the lack of safety rails. Adults, however, can’t even sit upright there.
Dead moths that had flown in through the chimney pipe had accumulated in the disused, dirty chimney.
Defects & Amenities: The toilet flushed a second time on its own after every use—extremely disruptive at night, since even the slightest noise can be heard throughout the entire chalet. There are no shared showers or restrooms, so it’s impossible for multiple people to use the facilities at the same time, despite the tiny bathroom.
The water pressure in the shower is barely enough to rinse out shampoo, which is why everything takes so long.
The curtain rod for the small sleeping area had been torn down on one side. The bedsheet had no elastic, kept slipping, and lay on the bare mattress, which was absolutely disgusting.
Outdoor Area & Service: The outdoor chairs aren’t meant for sitting on for long periods; there was neither a table nor chairs on the front porch of our chalet. Behind the house, we couldn’t sit at the table due to an ant infestation. A parasol was provided only upon request, and the stand wasn’t delivered until after a second complaint. Right in front of the house is a streetlight that, starting at 10 p.m., lights up the chalet—and especially the upper floors—as bright as day through the skylight. There are communal washing machines (€6.50 per load), but there was no clothes rack in our chalet (though all our neighbors had one). A dryer was also available for communal use (€2.50 for 20 minutes—after that, the clothes were still wet, but we didn’t have any more dryer tokens and the front desk was closed). The “welcome dishwashing kit” contained dishwasher tablets, even though there is no dishwasher at all (neither in our chalet nor for communal use).
Condition of the property: During the final cleaning, the staff placed dirty linens and trash bags from departing guests outside; these often remained there for days after the cleaning, lying in front of the chalets. Seagulls tore everything to shreds in the chalet next to ours, so trash was scattered everywhere. It wasn’t until new guests arrived on day 4 that the area was cleaned up, and then the seagulls were gone too.
Conclusion: We definitely won’t be back.this is a translation, click here for the original

Beautiful park! Everything was neat and tidy, and the park’s location is great. Combined with our 3-day visit to Concert at Sea, the park and our Tiny House were ideal. We could easily walk to the small beach through the back entrance to cool off in the waters of the Haringvliet.

Mooi park!

After our sixth stay here, I’m afraid I have to drastically lower my rating. The house was absolutely filthy, the bedding was full of hair, and we were itchy all over. We had to leave the next day. And to think we’d been so enthusiastic about the park before. There were also quite a few things missing—no clothes rack or sink plugs, no ashtrays—and weeds were growing wild all around. The restaurant wasn’t even open anymore, and the snack bar was only open until 6 p.m. Unfortunately, that was our last visit there.

I stayed here for four nights.
It’s a great place to stay in a beautiful location, and I thought the price was excellent.
But unfortunately, I found out that the park is trying to make extra money by making false accusations.
Explanation here.
Smoking is not allowed inside the unit.
And I think that makes sense.
So I smoked on the terrace.
But despite that, I was accused of smoking inside the apartment.
And I received an unjustified fine of €150.
I also received that invoice without having been contacted beforehand by phone or email.this is a translation, click here for the original
