Tiny Lodge - 4 persons

Unser Aufenthalt im EuroParcs Voorne-Putten hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Besonders die Nähe zum wunderschönen Strand ist ein absolutes Plus: Der Sand ist fein und die Küste ist selbst in der Saison nicht von Menschenmassen überfüllt. Der gesamte Park macht einen sehr gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Ein riesiges Highlight für unsere Kinder war das abwechslungsreiche Animationsprogramm. Von der Kinderdisco über spannende Zaubershows bis hin zu verschiedenen Bewegungsspielen war für jeden etwas dabei. Auch der Adventure Dome hat unserem Nachwuchs fantastisch gefallen – besonders positiv ist hierbei, dass der Eintritt bereits im Preis inbegriffen ist. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich sowie hilfsbereit und verständigte sich problemlos auf Niederländisch, Englisch und teilweise sogar auf Deutsch.
​Unser Tiny House war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Es war wirklich alles für den täglichen Bedarf vorhanden, darunter ein Staubsauger, ein Wäscheständer, ein Sonnenschirm, eine Filterkaffeemaschine und ein Wasserkocher. Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es aufgrund der anhaltenden Wetterlage zwar viele Ameisen auf dem Gelände, allerdings war der Park darauf hervorragend vorbereitet. Wir wurden direkt beim Check-in auf die Situation hingewiesen und erhielten sehr effektive Ameisenköder ausgehändigt. Diese vorausschauende Vorbereitung werten wir als absolut positiven Service.
​Ein paar kleine Kritikpunkte gibt es dennoch. Aktivitäten wie Minigolf oder Lasertag im Park sind leider nur gegen ein zusätzliches Entgelt nutzbar. Hier hätten wir uns zumindest für die Kinder einen kostenfreien Zugang gewünscht (aus diesem Grund einen Stern Abzug im Service). Zudem konnten wir den Fernseher im Haus leider nicht mit Streaming-Diensten wie Netflix verbinden, auch wenn immerhin die öffentlich-rechtlichen Sender in deutscher Sprache verfügbar waren.
​Trotz der kleinen Abzüge hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub und können den Park besonders für Familien wärmstens empfehlen.

The small cottages (called chalets) and the park itself seem to be very neglected. During our last visit (2023), that wasn’t the case at all. Today, the gardens of the chalets and the greenery throughout the entire grounds are very neglected. The cottages aren’t being maintained. In ours, for example, the front door is installed so crookedly that there’s a gap of up to 2 cm at both the top and bottom. Ants, spiders, and other insects have an easy time getting in. Even mice have no trouble exploring the inside of the cottage. Our refrigerator has a vegetable drawer and, believe it or not, just a single glass shelf. At least two shelves are missing. All the door compartments in the refrigerator are missing. I don’t know if this refrigerator was misused as a source of spare parts for other refrigerators in the park, or if previous guests were able to use all of these items (at home).
In addition, a window pane in our house is cracked.
Some of the glasses in the kitchen cabinet are broken.
The cutlery was anything but clean. Pots, pans, and even the furniture need a thorough deep cleaning.
In the bathroom, there were traces left by the previous guests in the form of scuff marks and hair.
The cleaning before we took over the house was clearly only very superficial. The floor hasn’t seen a damp mop in a long time.
But none of this is really surprising. The cleaning staff who “clean” the vacated chalets are often sitting on the sofa or the patio, busy on their cell phones. During our one-week stay at this resort, we saw this happen often enough—so it’s not an isolated incident. And the time allotted to mark such a chalet as “cleaned” isn’t even enough to begin to clean it properly.
We had, of course, reported the issues with our chalet directly to the front desk. An employee did come and take a look at them. For the problem with the front door being more or less ajar, an outside company would have to come—the park technician couldn’t fix it himself. And as for the refrigerator, they didn’t have any replacement parts (even though there are hundreds of cottages in this complex). A new refrigerator would have to be ordered. Of course, nothing—absolutely nothing—had been done by the time we left. Wait, that’s not quite right. We did receive two ant bait stations.
Naturally, that makes up for everything. Not a chance!!!

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this vacation home. Overall, the living situation was extremely disappointing for me. There were issues with the size, cleanliness, and flies and mosquitoes, and my concerns were not addressed satisfactorily or in a timely manner. The house is much too small for a family of four. It’s a two-person house.

What I expect most from a good rental arrangement is reliability, a property in good condition, and a quick resolution to legitimate problems. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met here.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this rental property. Anyone interested in renting an apartment here should first find out in great detail about the condition and size of the apartment, as well as the experiences of other tenants.

Leider waren auf dem Platz selbst alle Einrichtungen (essen und trinken) spätestens um 21 Uhr geschlossen, das ist wirklich sehr unglücklich, es gab immer so viele Familien am Spielplatz (wir auch) die liebend gerne noch etwas verzehrt hätten. So musste man vorsichtshalber immer alles mitbringen oder früh zur Unterkunft zurück. Das selbe gilt für den kleinen Strandabschnitt, fast niemand war Abends dort, auch da wurde der pub extrem früh geschlossen.
