Sun, sea, and beach

About a 5-minute bike ride away is the Ouddorp aan Zee beach, one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in the Netherlands. On this beach, almost 18 km long you can take lovely walks on the beach, spread out your bath towel and you will find nice beach pavilions where you can settle down for a snack or a drink. For water sports enthusiasts, there is plenty to do. For example, learn to surf, go sailing, or supping. At the end of the beach, you will find the Brouwersdam, the seventh structure of the Delta Works, and the connection between the province of South Holland and Zeeland. Here you can often spot seals but also enjoy the annual "Concert at Sea" festival.

Visit the goat farm

Goat Farm De Mekkerstee is an organic goat farm and a fun day out for the young and old. Not only will you learn all about these cute animals here, you can also cuddle them and even milk them. You can also see how goat's milk is made into cheese. In the farm store, you can buy plenty of tasty local products and in the restaurant, you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a delicious piece of apple pie.

Visit Fitou

Between the meadows in Ouddorp, you will find Fitou. At this cozy cafe with a tea garden, you can linger all day. Scattered on the grass are tables where you enjoy a cappuccino or delicacy from the menu, while the kids learn about what grows and blooms in the nursery garden. In the pasture are ponies and horses, and in bad weather, there is a cozy indoor area.

Hiking and biking

The surroundings of Vakantiepark de Klepperstee are perfect for a nice walking or cycling tour. Nature reserve the Kwade Hoek has a varied landscape and there are numerous birds to spot. The Bunker Route is not only a beautiful but also an interesting route that leads you along a part of the 2600 km long defense line built by the Germans in World War II. The Slikken van Flakkee is a beautiful hiking and cycling area where you will find many plants and wildlife. Not only nature offers beautiful pictures. The village of Goedereede still has city walls, a tower, and a harbor dating back to Roman times. The narrow streets are also a real attraction.

    Unfortunately, absolutely lousy goodwill when it comes to canceling. I advise everyone not to pre-book. Despite the immensely high prices (one night for 54 euros!!), this campsite does not refund a cent, although it was asked for very politely. What a pity. I am extremely disappointed by this kind of behavior. A little humanity would do them good! I have a sick 85-year-old mother on board the motorhome and was therefore unable to travel and asked for a few euros refund....tja...

    Leider absolut miese Kulanz, wenn es um Stornierung geht. Ich rate jedem, nicht vorzubuchen. Man erstattet bei diesem Campingplatz trotz immens hoher Preise ( eine Nacht für 54,- Euro!!) keinen Cent, obwohl sehr höflich darum gebeten wurde. Schade. Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht von so einem Verhalten. Etwas Menschlichkeit würde ihnen guttun!! Ich habe eine kranke 85-jährige Mutter an Bord des Wohnmobils und konnte deshalb nicht anreisen und habe um ein paar Euro Rückerstattung gebeten….tja…

    Beautiful entrance to a vacation park that is being phased . It must be said, that which has already been on the shovel looks beautiful. A diversity of tiny houses, chalets gives the vacation park a nice look. Gone is traditional camping with mobile homes. Welcome new park with a diversity of chalets.

    We have been coming to the Klepperstee for 5 years now. Not only to sleep, but also to have lunch at Skal. The kids love it there, and because of those faces we decided to get a permanent place here. We are really looking forward to when our cabin will be installed. Hopefully we can go there again this summer! It is highly recommended

    Wij komen nu 5 jaar op de Klepperstee. Niet alleen om te slapen, maar ook om lekker te lunchen bij Skal. De kinderen het er fantastisch, en door die koppies hebben wij besloten hier een vaste plaats de bemachtigen. Wij kijken enorm uit naar het moment dat onze Cabin geplaatst word. Hopelijk kunnen we er deze zomer ook nog een keer heen !! Het is een echte aanrader

    A very nice campsite, very quiet and great opportunities to explore the area by bike. The beach is within easy walking distance. The modern sanitary facilities were very clean and well maintained, we felt very comfortable. Arrival and departure went smoothly. We would come back again and again.

    Ein sehr schöner Campingplatz, sehr ruhig gelegen und tolle Möglichkeiten, mit dem Fahrrad die Gegend zu erkunden. Der Strand ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Die modernen Sanitäranlagen waren sehr sauber und gepflegt, man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. An- und Abreise sind reibungslos verlaufen. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.
