An active day full of wind, water and beach
Feel the wind, get out on the water and discover kitesurfing at the Sand Motor, the sandbank off the coast of Dune View. On the shallow water, BLOW Kitesurf School offers lessons and multi-day courses for beginners and advanced riders. Experienced instructors guide you step by step, so you can safely learn to start, steer and gain confidence on the water. Already have experience? Then you can get started straight away. Afterwards, order a wood-fired pizza and watch others still out on the water. The on-site surf shop also rents equipment. Plan half a day by the sea and discover how much fun playing with wind and water can be. Bet you'll be watching the wind more often afterwards?

Walk through The Hague city centre
Enjoy a varied day out in the centre of The Hague, a short distance from the park. Walk past the Inner Court, discover the historic Prison Gate at the Outer Court and step inside The Passage, the covered shopping arcade built between 1882 and 1885 that is now a national monument. Around the Great Market, you will find terraces and hospitality venues, ideal for lunch, drinks or dinner amid city life. The Hague city centre is compact enough to explore on foot, yet offers plenty of variety for a full day with its squares, shops, museums and monumental streets. From Dune View, you can easily travel towards the centre by public transport. Discover the city and experience how surprisingly versatile The Hague is.
Discover the Netherlands in miniature at Madurodam
Discover the whole of the Netherlands in miniature at Madurodam, about seven kilometres from the park. Walk past famous places recreated at a scale of 1:25, from the Delta Works to the Amsterdam canals, and see how many details are hidden in the models along the way. In just a few hours, you will see buildings and landscapes that would normally take days to travel to. In between, you can take a break at one of the restaurants, the playground or the picnic meadow. Take a good look, be surprised and experience the Netherlands up close in miniature.
Experience the beach and promenade in Scheveningen
Enjoy a day full of beach, promenade and seaside atmosphere in Scheveningen, about seven kilometres from the park. Walk along The Pier, pick up something tasty at the harbour or plan an evening out at the theatre. At SEA LIFE, you will come face to face with sharks, rays, penguins and jellyfish. The park is particularly appreciated for its top location: within 5 to 10 minutes' walk you reach the beautiful beach, and via the dunes you can quickly get to Scheveningen or The Hague. Guests praise the spacious layout of the park, the pleasant surroundings with lots of greenery and shade, and the friendly staff at reception. The automatic check-in is experienced as convenient. At the same time, there are complaints about outdated sanitary facilities that have too little capacity for the size of the park, inconsistent cleaning, and poor communication from the organisation. The price-quality ratio is also regularly questioned.

FIRST OFF: We’re not experienced campers; we booked on a whim in the summer with two kids and two basic tents.
Plenty of campsites, close to the sea. The campsites aren’t particularly spacious. There are enough restroom facilities, cleaned at least once a day; some are new and clean, while others are a bit worn. The sand throughout the campground turns your feet dark to black. In the outer areas of the campground, the forest is quite littered in places.
In the “center,” there’s a great supermarket, well-maintained sports facilities, a good restaurant, and snack bars. You’ve just got to like the kids’ program and entertainment; the restaurant’s hours are very short, as is customary in the Netherlands. (No food served after 8 p.m.)
The beach is a short walk away, but it’s a gorgeous sandy beach (dog-friendly), clean, and closes at 9:00 PM. There are two pretty good beach bars/restaurants; on the left, there’s a fantastic wood-fired pizza place!
The location, the center, and the price make up for the other things—we’d definitely come back!this is a translation, click here for the original
Ausreichend Anzahl an Sanitärhäuschen, mind.

A large, spacious campground with lots of attractions for kids. We stayed in spot #2 with our RV—the sites are very spacious, just a 10-minute walk to the beach, very dog-friendly, and there’s a large store on the grounds. Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Best regards, Anne and Jürgen. In 2026, we returned and were very disappointed—the site wasn’t good; we were parked under an oak tree, and the acorns were falling on our RV day and night. furthermore, the cleaning crew wasn’t exactly the best—they locked the showers and restrooms at 8 a.m. and were done just before 10 a.m. Then our daughter wasn’t allowed onto the site to pick up her belongings, such as two large suitcases, so we had to haul everything all the way to the car, so we won’t be booking this campground again—Landal should look into this.

Right on the beach; you can drive into the park in a designated area and park right outside the door. That’s why I give it 5 stars for the location. But that’s about it. The pool is small and dirty. Despite the swimming rules, the kids jump off the edge into the water and the lifeguard says nothing. Likewise, people are throwing hard balls around—no reaction. The rooms are poorly insulated; we booked four days and got four days of rain and falling hazelnuts at night. It was so loud at night that we had to catch up on sleep during the day. I didn’t know rain could keep me awake like that. There were no trash bags, no sponges, no soap in the bathroom, and no cleaning supplies. You have to bring your own towels and bed linens—or pay a hefty price for them. And all this for 1,200 euros for 4 nights. The playground is rather tiny, and the activities on offer are pretty lackluster. The food isn’t good. At home, the manager—watery surface, hardly any cutlery, small sofa, small bathroom!

Zuhause Verwalter Wasseroberfläche, kaum Besteck, kleines Sofa, kleines Bad!

It's actually pretty nice, but everything costs extra—for example, 6 minutes on the trampoline costs 3 €.

We had booked a mobile home. The booking process and check-in went smoothly. Inside the mobile home, there were dirty plates in the cupboard, and the dishwasher had clearly seen better days—both in terms of hygiene and functionality. Otherwise, though, everything was very neat and impressive! For dining, I recommend the beach clubs—the on-site restaurant here is a disaster!
