Dear fellow campers, we fled this campground about two hours ago!!
I wonder if all the reviews below are real?
We really felt like we were surrounded by asylum seekers—no, those people definitely have the right to be here!
But I should at least be able to choose whether or not we want to be among them.
When I went to complain, the owner said those were people from Bangladesh and that they’d been given the choice of either sailing on for another 3 weeks or staying at the campground for 3 weeks 🤨🤔
Those people are staying there in so-called “pods”—cabin-like structures measuring 4x2.5 meters or smaller.
The place isn’t clean, and the staff is nice but not very competent.
I immediately filed a complaint and said we wouldn’t be staying.
We immediately started looking for another campground and ended up at Camping de Hoge Waard.
Cost per night: €30, and the dog stays for free.
€3.30 tourist tax—and that’s it!!
And a true 5-star campground, with excellent service and super-friendly staff!!!
Total €66.60
Really, the only advantage of Grienduil is that it costs a total of €60
But it still costs €1 for a shower,- 6 minutes
Washing dishes costs €0.50
You have to pay extra for electricity over 5 kWh
I think SVR should really pay this place a visit and judge it for themselves; hopefully, SVR will then pull the plug on it.
Oh, and don’t forget to take a peek behind the scenes 👎👎👎👎this is a translation, click here for the original
Vraag me af of alle onderstaande reviews echt zijn ?

During the SVR fair, we won 4 nights at camping Grienduil in Nieuwland. How much we enjoyed our stay! Everything looked spick and span. We also had a beautiful pitch with an unobstructed view over the green fields - really enjoying the tranquility and the surroundings. The manager also came across as very friendly and hospitable, which made our stay extra pleasant. Through this way we want to thank camping Grienduil very much for this nice price and the nice stay. Definitely a place to come back to!

It is a small campground with friendly staff, owner. On the site you get to see that you have nice spacious Wide faces, however this is only for and few premium places!!! The campsite gave us more the idea of a glorified allotment. You sit hut to hut.

Beautifully located mini campground with friendly staff and owner. Were welcomed and helped with our carvan. Food was a bit disappointing, French fries and schnitzel can be dressed up nicely instead of bare on a plate. Sandwich service was very good. Unfortunately we had a lot of noise from the road, parking lot and people in cottages.
