General information

Sustainable vacation lodges made from recycled chalets, ideal for a special glamping vacation in Zeeland. Each lodge is different and has its own unique style, designed by STOERbuiten.

Sink down between the cushions on the covered veranda, enjoy a barbecue supper and relax by a crackling fire from a wonderful vacation day. The lodges are very spaciously placed the outdoor courtyard "the Dove" and connected by hidden doors in hedges and a shared fire pit.

On the terraces there are several outdoor elements, such as a hanging chair or swing. The lodge also has private sanitary facilities (shower and toilet with hot and cold water) and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a Nespresso with cups ready for you.

Inside are one double bed and a bunk bed for 2 children (up to 12 years max at lodge 3) + Bell tent for 2 people. There is also a sofa bed in the lodge. Upon arrival at the glamping, the beds are made for you and towels are provided.

In the living area is a spacious lounge seating area with a TV and a cozy dining area. Outside under the covered porch you can enjoy evenings outside by the fireplace, this is furnished with a lounge set and each lodge has a barbecue.

The lodges are located in the yard of Buitenplaats de Duif in the middle of the countryside and yet close to the Grevelingen (catching crabs!!) and within cycling distance of the beach. Because there is also a large furnished Belltent in the lodge's own garden, 2 extra people can stay overnight! This Buitenplaats is particularly popular because of its central yet quiet location: close to the beach, water sports paradise the Brouwersdam, diving locations and cycling routes.

Amenities, such as a very large supermarket, restaurants, etc. can be found nearby in Scharendijke. 7Huizen aan Zee offers sandwich service on weekends and during school vacations.

    We’ve been spending our vacations at this beautiful campground for 9 years now, and for the past 4 years we’ve been bringing our trailer. For us, it feels like coming home every single time.
    The family-friendly atmosphere, the warm hospitality, and the cleanliness are truly exceptional. Families with children and dogs, in particular, feel completely at home here. Everything is well-maintained, peaceful, and run with great care.
    A big thank you to the entire team for their warmth and great service. We look forward to our vacation here every year and can wholeheartedly recommend this campground!

    Die familiäre Atmosphäre, die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die Sauberkeit sind wirklich außergewöhnlich. Besonders Familien mit Kindern und Hund fühlen sich hier rundum wohl. Alles ist gepflegt, ruhig und mit viel Liebe geführt.

    Last week, we spent a week at this fantastic location with all our children and grandchildren. Upon arrival, we felt as if we had stepped onto an estate somewhere in France. We received a very warm welcome, and our hostess was available to answer all our questions throughout the week. The best thing about this location is the space—all four of our children had their own cottage, and the common area served as a gathering spot. We used the long outdoor table for leisurely meals. Everything was tastefully decorated, including the four cottages. The kitchen was fantastic. The large garden, with so many lovely spots, was also a hit.
    The kibbeling at the “Even Pauze” restaurant comes highly recommended.

    Vorige week waren wij met al onze kinderen en kleinkinderen een week op deze toplocatie. Bij aankomst hadden we het gevoel ergens op een landgoed in Frankrijk te zijn beland. We werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen en gedurende de hele week was onze gastvrouw voor al onze vragen te bereiken. Het mooie van deze locatie is de ruimte, de kinderen hadden alle 4 een eigen huisje en de gemeenschapsruimte diende als ontmoetings plek. De lange tafel buiten werd gebruikt voor lange eetmomenten. Alles sfeervol ingericht. Ook de 4 huisjes. Een super keuken. De grote tuin met zoveel mooie plekjes was ook een succes.
    Kibbeling in het restaurant ,,even pauze,, is een aanrader.

    This past Pentecost weekend, we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our—almost—entire family at this wonderful venue! We had planned this two years in advance, and we had such a wonderful time! Since the Huyskamer is open to the public in the summer, and because the campground guests thought it was already open, Tom and Pauline set up some planters next to the terrace on Saturday afternoon so we could have more privacy! In short, a beautiful location and very warm and thoughtful hosts 🫶🏻🌸🫶🏻

    Afgelopen Pinksterweekend mochten wij ons 50 jarig huwelijk vieren met ons, bijna, complete gezin op deze geweldige locatie! We hadden dit 2 jaar van te voren besproken en wat hebben we genoten! Omdat de locatie de Huyskamer in de zomer voor publiek toegankelijk is, en omdat de gasten van de camping dachten dat het nu ook al zo was, hebben Tom en Pauline op zaterdagmiddag een aantal plantenbakken neergezet naast het terras, zodat we meer privacy hadden!     It’s truly a wonderful place! We live in the area, and whenever we have family visiting, they stay in a 7Huizen aan Zee cottage. The cottages are comfortable and cozy. The location is ideal. Close to the sea, the Grevelingen, and Zierikzee. The supermarket is also nearby. Plus, the host is super friendly and easy to reach when needed. Truly top-notch!

    Echt een heel fijne plek! Wij wonen hier in de buurt en altijd wanneer we familie over hebben verblijven ze in een huis van 7Huizen aan Zee. De huisjes zijn comfortabel en gezellig ingericht. De locatie is ideaal. Dichtbij zee, de Grevelingen en Zierikzee. Maar ook de supermarkt is vlakbij. Verder is de host super vriendelijk en snel bereikbaar als het nodig is. Echt Top!

    Wonderful place to stay. Awesome service from the hosts, the cottage and campsite had everything you could want. Questions were answered quickly and there is plenty of play area to entertain elementary school age children. Highly recommended!
