Summary created out of 265 reviews

Family campsite De Molenhoek is particularly appreciated for its extremely friendly and helpful staff, central location in Zeeland (close to beach, Veerse Meer and amenities) and excellent cleanliness throughout the park. Guests praise the well-maintained sanitary facilities that are cleaned multiple times per day, the heated swimming pool with separate children's pools, and the spacious playgrounds with fun animation for kids. The campsite offers spacious, well-maintained pitches (partly with shell surface) and chalets, and radiates a peaceful, well-kept atmosphere. However, some note that sanitary facilities can be dated or unisex which not everyone finds comfortable, and that the restaurant can be pricey with limited opening hours outside high season.

We had a RV site. Plenty of space and good drainage. Not much privacy. Great pool and plenty of activities. The restrooms were usually fine.

We were there with our T5 van. I think the RV sites are very small and close together. We even had trouble setting up our awning. There are no water hookups at the sites. It’s fine for a short stay, but I wouldn’t stay there any longer than that.

Overall, the campground is very nice. The campsites are neat and clearly marked. I recommend the restaurant. Good food with generous portions at a fair price.
My only complaint is about the restroom facilities. There was only one shower house on the entire campground, which meant we had to walk quite a distance. There are no electrical outlets for hair dryers inside the facilities, and the men’s restroom lacks urinals—something that should really be standard these days. The website states that all sites are equipped with electricity and water hookups. Well, our site had an electrical hookup but no water connection. We had to haul fresh water all the way from the shower house using a watering can.
All in all, the campground is okay. But for that price, I won’t be going back there.
