Nature areas and being outdoors

Surrounding Burgh-Haamstede are several nature reserves where you can walk and cycle. Westerschouwen Forestry is the largest forest in Zeeland and partly borders the dunes. Here you walk through forest and open dune landscape, with viewpoints and paths leading to the beach. The Grevelingenmeer is also close by, a large saltwater lake where you can swim, sail, or find a peaceful spot along the shore. National Park Oosterschelde offers a different environment, with opportunities for bird watching, diving, or taking a boat tour. Cities, culture and local spots

    We are very impressed with this campsite. Everything is remarkably clean and well maintained. There are wonderful playgrounds. The bouncy cushion was of course particularly popular with the kids. Just like the great indoor playground and the indoor pool. Everything is clean here too. The entertainment was also very popular with the children, it was very varied and there was something for all ages. We found it particularly positive that all the activities were free of charge. We didn't need to spend any money on the campsite itself. We mostly used the new sanitary facilities, which are very modern, but we have one negative point here: the water temperature in the showers. Unfortunately, they are set a few degrees too cold. Especially after a windy, rainy day, you look forward to a hot shower but have to make do with lukewarm water. The children's bathroom is very well thought out and we liked it very much.

    Wir sind sehr begeistert von diesem Campingplatz. Es ist alles bemerkenswert sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt wunderschöne Spielplätze. Das Hüpfkissen war bei den Kids natürlich besonders beliebt. Genauso, wie der tolle Indoorspielplatz und das Hallenbad. Auch hier ist alles sauber. Die Animation kam bei den Kindern auch super an, es war sehr abwechslungsreich und für jedes Alter etwas dabei. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass alle Aktivitäten kostenlos waren. Auf den Platz selbst haben wir kein Geld benötigt. Wir waren meist in den neuen sanitären Einrichtungen diese sind sehr modern eingerichtet, allerdings haben wir hier einen Minuspunkt, dass ist die Wassertemperatur bei den Duschen. Diese sind leider ein paar Grad zu kalt eingestellt. Besonders nach einem windigen, regnerischen Tag freut man sich auf eine heiße Dusche und muss sich aber mit lauwarmem Wasser begnügen. Das Kinderbad ist sehr durchdacht eingerichtet und gefiel uns sehr gut.

    What peace and quiet here , and everything you need is here. Swimming pool and plumbing maintained to perfection . The camping staff is more than helpful 🤗and we recognize year after year . Well it has become a bit our second home 🤭we come here to relax completely.

    Wat een rust hier , en alles wat je nodig hebt is hier aanwezig. Zwembad en sanitair tot in de puntjes onderhouden. Het campingpersoneel is meer dan hulpvaardig 🤗en herkennen we jaar na jaar . Tja het is beetje onze tweede thuis geworden 🤭wij komen hier volledig tot rust.
