Glamping Beach Resort New Stream-Bath on the Zeeland coast
Beach Resort New Stream-Bath is located on the coast of Zeeland Flanders. A wooden boardwalk behind the main building leads directly to the wide beach, where the water remains shallow for a long time. From the beach, you can walk straight into the Sunken Black Polder, a nature reserve popular with birdwatchers. The indoor swimming pool with three slides, a water playground and a paddling pool is the centrepiece of the park. Children can also enjoy the indoor playground, while teenagers have their own hangout. In good weather, there is mini golf. The restaurant serves classic fish and meat dishes as well as vegetarian meals; a snack bar completes the offering. Dogs are welcome, and there are special dog lodges with enclosed gardens.

Thanks to the combination of nature and sea, this is a wonderful place for a peaceful walk or to get some fresh air on the Zeeland coast.

Shop and enjoy in Sluis
The charming fortified town of Sluis is just 12 kilometres from the park. Walk along the historic city walls, visit the Belfry and settle down at one of the many terraces. Summary created out of 125 reviews
The park offers a spacious layout with a nice swimming pool featuring three slides and is within walking distance of the beach, which guests highly appreciate. The restaurant staff is experienced as friendly and helpful, and the location in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen makes the park a good base for trips to Sluis and Bruges. However, there are recurring complaints about cleanliness – guests regularly report dust, hair from previous visitors, and a persistent ant problem in the accommodations. Outdated furniture, inadequate maintenance, and occasionally disappointing service are also mentioned as areas for improvement.

Our stay at Landal Beach Resort Nieuwvliet-Bad got off to a promising start. The facilities are great and the sea is within walking distance, which is really nice. We also took the train from Knokke to Bruges—a really fun trip!
Unfortunately, the cottage was quite a letdown. We paid over €1,800 for a 10-person cottage for four nights. For that kind of money, you’d expect the cottage to be clean. Upon arrival, there were thick layers of dust, thick cobwebs everywhere, and dirty dishes left out. I suspect the cleaning staff simply aren’t given enough time to clean the cottages properly.
The biggest scare, however, was the smoke alarm—all the detectors in the house suddenly went off. We couldn’t detect any smoke ourselves, but the noise was deafening, so we went outside. After dealing with chatbots and FAQs, we finally reached the national number and were transferred to the park, but no one answered there. We were then transferred again and put on hold for the third time. Finally, someone answered and advised, “Just take the batteries out.” I declined that suggestion and asked if someone could come take a look.
About ten minutes later, the technical service arrived. They told us this happened frequently and was caused by dust in the cottages, so there was no rush. We found that quite shocking—what if there had actually been a fire?
There’s also room for improvement when it comes to hospitality. Almost all the staff speak English, but very few greet you with a sincere, friendly smile. These may be small things, but they do determine how welcome you feel. The woman at the supermarket, on the other hand, was super friendly!
The location and the surroundings are definitely pluses, but unfortunately, our experience was significantly marred.this is a translation, click here for the original
