General information

The lodge is a detached accommodation of 65 m² and suitable for up to four people. The lodge is located directly by the water and is on one level.

There are two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are on the ground floor and are furnished with two box spring beds. There is a television in the bedrooms. Single duvets and pillows are provided.

In the living and dining room you will find a seating area, dining area and smart TV. The accommodation features free wifi, a free safe and a storage room for example for bicycles or outdoor equipment.

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, combination microwave and coffee maker suitable for Nespresso cups.

The accommodation has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. In addition, there is a separate toilet and a washer-dryer combination.

Outside there is a garden with terrace, terrace furniture and parasol. The lodge is located directly by the water.

    Landal Cancellation Policy


    Reservations made more than 42 days before the start of the stay may be canceled free of charge within 14 days of booking. All other cancellations are subject to a fee.

    The cancellation fee is 30% of the total reservation amount for cancellations made up to 30 days before the arrival date, and the full amount for cancellations made on or after the 30th day before arrival.

    You can protect yourself against cancellation risks by purchasing cancellation insurance when you make your reservation.

    If you have not arrived within 24 hours of the scheduled start date of your stay without further notice, this will be considered a cancellation. In that case, you will be liable for the full amount of your reservation.

  • Payment information

    You must pay the landlord a deposit of 50% of the total amount no later than 14 days after making your reservation. For reservations made within 8 weeks of the start date of your stay, the full amount must be paid in a single payment. The remaining balance of the rental price must be received by the landlord no later than 8 weeks before the start date of your stay, as stated in the confirmation/invoice.

Water Village is located in the heart of Zeeland's natural surroundings, within walking distance of the beach on the Eastern Scheldt.     Lost items disappear here! After staying here, I forgot to take my jackets out of the closet. It happens, and you assume they were probably found during cleaning. I called the front desk but couldn’t get through; only after trying several times was I finally able to speak to someone. A general staff member said they’d pass the report on to the cleaning team at that location, but after a week with no response, I contacted them again (which was another huge hassle). After several attempts, I finally spoke to someone who said they’d look into it.
    Eventually, I received a message saying the two jackets hadn’t been found.

    In my opinion, Landal doesn’t have a lost and found policy at all! So make sure to check carefully before you leave to see if you have everything—because once you’re gone, it’s just gone!

    Vergeten eigendommen verdwijnen hier! Na een verblijf hier vergeten de jassen uit de kast te halen. kan gebeuren en je denkt dat die vast gevonden zijn bij het schoonmaken. Gebeld naar receptie niet te bereiken pas na meermaals proberen eindelijk iemand kunnen spreken. Algemeen medewerker zou de melding doorzetten naar het schoonmaak team van de betreffende locatie, na een week nog geen reactie dus opnieuw contact opgenomen (wat wederom een hele opgave was) na meerdere pogingen opnieuw iemand gesproken die er achteraan zou gaan.
    Uiteindelijk kwam het bericht dat de twee jassen niet gevonden zijn.

    Volgens mij houd Landal er helemaal geen gevonden voorwerpen beleid op na! Check dus voor je vertrek goed of je alles hebt want daarna is het gewoon weg!

    We’ve been coming back to Watervillage for a few years now because the park is very beautiful and a bit quieter, located separately from the Beach Resort—far away from the tourist hotspots. The park captivates us with its waterways and many waterfowl. The beach and marina are easily accessible in 10 minutes. The large North Sea beach is a 20-minute walk away. The on-site supermarket is fine for basic needs, though it has recently scaled back its selection; you can get everything you need at the nearby AH in Kamperland. The buildings are now a bit weathered, though the furniture has obviously been replaced recently. The cleaning could be more thorough.

    Wir kommen seit ein paar Jahren immer wieder in das Watervillage, da der Park sehr schön und etwas ruhiger, separat vom Beach Resort gelegen ist. Fernab der Tourismushochburgen. Der Park fasziniert uns mit den Wasserläufen und vielen Wasservögeln. Der Weg zum Strand und Yachthafen ist in 10min. gut erreichbar. Der große Nordseestrand ist in 20min. erreichbar. Der ansässige Supermarkt ist für den Bedarfsall ok, hat sein Sortiment zuletzt verkleinert, im nahegelegenen AH in Kamperland bekommt man dann alles was man braucht. Mittlerweile sind die Gebäude etwas verwittert, die Möbel sind zuletzt offensichtlich ausgetauscht worden. Die Reinigung könnte umfangreicher sein.

    Water Village has beautiful cottages and lovely landscaping that offers plenty of privacy. It’s beautifully designed! However, this isn’t a standalone resort but a neighborhood within Landal Beach Resort. Landal Beach Resort is disappointing. It has an outdated pool area, with no real outdoor pool. All other facilities are really mediocre.

    The reviews of Water Village give a good impression of the accommodations but a distorted view of the overall picture.

    If you want a nice, quiet cottage surrounded by greenery, then Water Village is great! If you also want other facilities, check to see if Beach Resort meets your needs as well.

    Water Village heeft prachtige huisjes en een mooie landschappelijke inrichting met veel privacy. Super mooi ontworpen! Echter, is dit geen los park maar een wijk van Landal Beach Resort. Landal Beach Resort is treurig. Het heeft een verouderd zwembad, zonder echt buitenbad. Alle andere faciliteiten zijn echt matig.

    De reviews van Water Village geven een goed beeld van de accomodaties maar een vertekend beeld van het totaal plaatje.

    Wil je een mooi rustig huisje in het groen, dan is Water Villages top! Wil ook andere faciliteiten, kijk dan of Beach Resort ook aan je eisen voldoet.
