The first impression on arrival did not exactly inspire confidence. Normally, you are only supposed to get into the building by entering a code you have been given beforehand. However, this device was defective and was not repaired within the seven days. Anyone could get into the building unattended. The accommodation, which was described as a luxurious studio with a cozy seating area for two people, unfortunately turned out to be a simple hotel room with a small table by the window and two chairs with backrests. A large flat screen hangs somewhat unmotivated on a bare wall. To watch TV, you either have to lie down on the bed or place the two chairs next to the bed. Unfortunately there is no sideboard to put things down. The photos on the Internet, which convey a different impression, are misleading in this respect. The room looked drab and incompletely furnished (see photo). However, there is nothing wrong with the generously sized bathroom. Only a missing soap dispenser has to be bought in the nearby supermarket. This has nothing to do with luxurious complete equipment. The kitchen equipment is sufficient, but as is so often the case, there is a lack of a somewhat sharp knife with which you can at least cut a tomato (we also bought this ourselves). However, I don't understand why the sink doesn't have a plug and you have to rinse everything under running water instead, especially as it's not sustainable (why not at least a simple plastic bowl that would have enough storage space under the sink). Alternatively, you can use the dishwasher, but only twice in seven days as there are only two tabs. The counted cutlery and dishes only last for 2 days. Then it is pointed out that there is one vacuum cleaner per floor, but it can't be found the whole time. And without a broom in the studio, you can't even sweep away the fine coastal sand that you inevitably bring into the room, unless you crawl across the floor with the available hand brush and dustpan. Overall, we are disappointed. Having visited Zoutelande regularly for almost thirty years, we will certainly not be booking here again. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here.

The apartment in Kurhaus 2 is beautifully furnished and we immediately felt at home. The service from belvilla and welcome in is not only very good, but fantastic. Unfortunately, we had a few small problems that were solved within a very short time, e.g. setting the TV to German programs, a protruding socket, which was immediately repaired by the janitor. Shortcomings --- a larger mirror is missing, there is only one in the bathroom available An additional shelf in the bathroom would be nice Hooks in the bathroom, in the bedrooms are missing to hang something to hang something up. The dishwasher does not wash properly, the tab does not dissolve not dissolve, run different programs in a row. run one after the other. If you want to watch TV, finding German programs is not so easy. An instruction manual would be helpful. This is really complaining on a high level, the location is totally central, quickly on the beach, in the village, around the corner the Jumbo. What more could you want? Except good weather, but that's not the provider's fault. It was great as always, I'll definitely be back.

Was will man mehr?

The apartment is very tastefully furnished to a high standard. There was almost nothing that we missed. A small wardrobe for jackets might be advisable in the storage room by the washing machine. Otherwise it was just beautiful. The location and view is fantastic. However, what is missing in the description of the apartment is that it is only accessible via a very steep outside staircase with 14 very narrow steps. For me as a disabled person this was very difficult. The description mentions how to use the elevator, but not that there is no elevator to this wonderful apartment.

The four of us had a great long weekend in the cottage. We were very impressed by the facilities! We have never found so many hooks and sockets anywhere else. The kitchen equipment also left nothing to be desired. The house is also very quiet, well insulated and very nicely furnished. We would book it again!
