We stayed here towards the end of the camping season (20–24 August), and the campsite was quiet and not very full, which made for a very relaxed stay. The location is convenient too; you can easily walk into Briare to visit the market. The surrounding region is beautiful, with plenty to explore, including nearby wine areas such as Coteaux Giennois, Pouilly-sur-Loire, and Pouilly-Fumé. That said, the sanitary facilities could definitely use improvement. They felt outdated and didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly or at all during our stay. Essentials like soap and toilet paper were available at the beginning of our stay but weren’t refilled once they ran out. Also worth noting: the toilets don’t have seats, which might be uncomfortable for some visitors. The pitches were a bit disappointing as well. Many areas were muddy, with grass either worn out or overgrown, giving the impression that maintenance is somewhat limited. A practical tip: if you don’t have a reservation, don’t plan to arrive before 16:30, as the reception isn’t open earlier. If you’re bringing your own camping gear, there are instructions on how to enter before reception hours, and you can also send a text message to let them know you’ve arrived.

Auqapark is freezing cold .... It says on the internet that it would be heated ..... instead around 20 degrees ... disappointed

A real campsite !!!! Quiet (but not too quiet), lively (but not too lively). Spacious, shady pitches, impeccable sanitary hygiene, hard-working, attentive and available owners, home-cooked, local cuisine, local craft beer. 4th year for us, and still as much fun to drive 9h00. In short... some 4 or even 5-star "campsites" would do well to follow the example set by Camping des Tourbières.

Toilets are excellently maintained, for the campsite it should be better. For example the rulebook mentioned dogs on a leash, this is very sporadically followed. As reported by camping is not so easy to control especially with stubborn campers who ignore the rules. For the catering business it would be ideal to respect the rules in force, such as floor, work tables, frying fat/oil and appliance. If one does not want to respect these rules also in the kitchen. One should not expect campers with dogs to follow the rules either. Hopefully you can get back to work in the new sesoen with a little more commitment.

Lovely 4 days we had. Very nice campsite friendly people. In particular Annelies from country Camp. She really provides top service.

A beautiful, clean, modern campsite

Been to this campground 6 years ago. Receive an Email in 2025 with invoice and all our information from the campground as if we were staying at the campground. Called, get transferred from one to another, no decent apology and don't want to delete my information in their system because we stayed there 6 years ago.

We especially liked the mobile home, very comfortable and equipped, and the access to the river bathing area.

Very nice domain. Extensive range of playground equipment, groomed mini golf, nice pool, go cart course.... highly recommended!

Hi, we vacationed at the end of July in a camper, lovely place with more beaches available, entertainment and more. The only flaw, I would recommend to the management a night control(nonexistent), we happened to have noisy and rude neighbors and since it is not so cheap as a place, I would say that a night security is a must. A special thanks to Giacomo from the market, friendly, nice and professional.
