The meal (rigatoni carbonara) had been reheated in the microwave, was swimming in grease, and arrived at the table cold. The waiter was annoyed and unfriendly. It’s not our fault that you still have to work. Once, but never again.

First, the positives:

• The campground is in a beautiful location. With the various beaches surrounding the campground, you have a wide variety of options.
There are charming little villages and great places to visit nearby in both directions, all within a 20-25 minute drive. My recommendations: Palau, San Pantaleo, Baia Sardinia … :)

• Since we only ever go there in the fall, I can only speak to that time of year, but the number of vacationers is very manageable and there’s a peaceful atmosphere throughout the entire campground.

• The campsites are very nice, and they’re willing to accommodate requests. The new pool is also great.

However, what I personally find disappointing—and what has led us to start looking for other campgrounds—are the following reasons:

- We paid too much for the cabin considering what we got. When you spend that much money, you expect everything to work properly. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Showerheads that just drip, broken blinds—and everything else just looked shabby this time around.

- There are relatively few washing machines on the grounds, and on top of that, they’re ancient. The laundry doesn’t smell fresh after washing, and even in the off-season, it’s a struggle to find an available washing machine. That definitely needs improvement.

- The prices at the campground’s supermarket are outrageous. They’re taking advantage of the fact that the nearest store outside the campground isn’t easily accessible—you can only get there by car. To me, that’s just a rip-off.

- What’s completely unacceptable is that scarf vendors come onto the campground and harass you. It’s annoying enough on the beach, but they have no business being at the campground. This should be better and more strictly monitored, because according to campground policy, unauthorized people aren’t allowed on the grounds. Suggestion: Don’t allow unauthorized “guests” onto the campground.

All in all, a beautifully located campground, but we’ll look elsewhere next time. Read more Show less

We were there during the first two weeks of September 2026.
As in all my reviews, I’ll highlight both the positives and the negatives.
The location is ideal for swimming and beautiful beaches. The campground is lively… especially for the kids (the little ones 😄). If you don’t have kids, you’ll have to head into town—just a few minutes by … car—for entertainment. There aren’t any truly safe bike routes in the area.
We paid for the bike rack to be loaded onto the Corsica ferry… only to end up leaving the bikes on the bungalow’s patio because there were no safe bike paths or trails.
The pool is large, with several hot tubs. Is there room on the lounge chairs? Yes… of course: €15 per day, as posted in English right by the pool. So you end up laying your towel on the tile floor to dry off, which dampens the mood a bit 😄.
The store is convenient, but the prices are much less so. For less “sky-high” prices, head to Palau, about a 20-minute drive away.
Restaurant/bar: the food is good, but service can be slow at times. The 20% discount is only valid for lunch. With the heat, you don’t necessarily feel like eating pizza or lasagna at noon when you’ve barely gotten out of bed!
We couldn’t choose our site. The one offered was right across from the pool, with music and a crowd of kids—mostly from northern countries. So we were moved to a different spot, for an additional fee. Then: three hot water outages during the week. As compensation, we were offered a visit to the spa. A plus.
The spa costs €30 for 2 hours. It’s fairly small, with room for up to 12 people. And during our visit, they were cleaning with white vinegar—so much for the zen atmosphere 😄. The doors wide open for ventilation didn’t help keep the heat in or maintain quiet either.
The campground was generally quiet. When it wasn’t, no one seemed to step in. Their main priority seems to be noise… from cars. With a double-walled bungalow, however, you’ll be spared the loudspeakers from the cove across the way—a real party hotspot until 3 a.m., with sound loud enough to penetrate the walls!
Car: €15 per day to park on the campground, with restricted driving hours. So you’ll need to plan your errands in advance. Otherwise, bring a cooler and be prepared for a 10- to 15-minute walk to the fridge. Upon arrival, you can drive in, but after that… out you go! And the only off-site parking available also costs extra.
When it came time to pay the tourist tax and other fees, someone who spoke a little French finally showed up. The scene reminded us of a sketch by Les Inconnus 😄. More seriously, several employees gave us conflicting information. A few more French-speaking staff members and better-coordinated information would be appreciated.
We left around 5 a.m. to catch the Corsica ferry. To avoid waking people up with the car, we loaded it the night before. The result: the wheels on our suitcases rolled all over the campground in the middle of the night! We’d been told, “The security guard will be there for your keys at 5 a.m.” Spoiler: no one was there.
In September, the pool closes earlier: around 5 p.m., or even 4:45 p.m., depending on when the sun goes down.
When it comes to the bars and service, it’s best to be very specific when ordering—otherwise, the result can be… creative 😄. And when we stopped by for ice cream, an employee made it clear that her bad attitude was part of the service. Maybe another line of work would suit her better?
In summary: a beautiful place, well-located, with real strengths. But with staff better trained in customer service, consistent information, and a welcome more tailored to French guests, this campground could truly be excellent. Read more Show less
