Setback. We had booked for 3 nights and regretted it after the first night. The arrival was super friendly. When we entered the campsite we were already like : ok!!! Luckily only 3 nights. Beer drinking men and women at the children's pool. Tents, caravans very close together with the accompanying car next to it. Not convenient with that small stuff that comes from every corner and wants to play soccer or something. Fortunately we only wanted to put up the awning. There was no other way because there was no room for an awning. Right next to the caravan a leaking tap. Besides being a waste of water, mosquitoes celebrate when it is also 33 degrees. At night around 9:30 screaming children slapping shovels on a playhouse, throwing sand on the tents. According to the parents, they were allowed to make as much noise as they wanted until 10:30. Around the same time, 2 dogs once again started barking. The others were just quiet after an hour and a half. After an hour I called the reception with this complaint. I was told to solve this myself. But when the owners of the dogs are in the cafeteria, which, by the way, also produced a lot of noise, at least the people and the music, I don't know who to turn to. Finally the owner of the campground went out and it became quiet. After 12 o'clock also finally no more noise from the canteen. Had a conversation with the owner the other day about this complaint among other things. Further rather overdue maintenance, no clean sanitary facilities, no paper towels etc, few sanitary facilities. On each field 1 toilet building. Unfortunately our water system was broken so we had no choice. Or actually choice because we went home on day 2. Catering I can devote a separate chapter to. Just bad! And especially not clean just like the terrace. In short, 2 nights Goorzicht. Literally and figuratively. For small children it is a very nice campsite by the way. Next year there will be changes in the layout. Das beautiful but we had nothing an. Too bad!

Bardzo fajny camping, na wielki plus łazienki, dostęp do plaży. Łazienki są czyste, nie brakuje papieru, suszarki do włosów, deszczownica pod prysznicem. Minus to plaża dla psów oraz umiejsownienie stacji z prądem. Dzięki rodakowi (pan od nurkowania ":), który pożyczył nam przedłużacz mogliśmy korzystać w pełni. Wytyczone miejsce dla psów jest dosyć małe i ulokowane na kamieniach. Obsługa obiektu bardzo pomocna i miła. Restauracje na terenie campingu klimatyczne. Jedzenie bylo pyszne, ogromne porcje.

Very good place in family and very professional-friendly staff

Tent stay with my whole family at the end of August. Overall positive experience, good facilities and quiet environment, but we encountered two main problems: the pitches are not leveled well for a tent stay, sloping and clearly visible RV wheel marks on the ground, which make the ground unsuitable for tents, also the ground is very earthy, without grass and gravel (terrible in rain and mud). Another problem, the bathrooms in zone 3 unsanitary, infested with birds flying everywhere, with nests on every beam and droppings on the walls. Camping tip: Build a birdhouse outside the bathrooms. In our experience I would not give this campground 4 stars.

An excellent local restaurant, with a great ‘country pub’ atmosphere and very friendly staff.

A great place, a very nice facility! The people are very committed and courteous. Unfortunately, this is not reflected in the bungalows. Dirty rooms, poorly cleaned kitchen, dirty fridge, windows from which you can hardly see through thanks to all kinds of screens. Gas stove defective, one flame goes out randomly, gas flows out. That's my red line. Everything can be fixed, but I recommend washing all the dishes once and bringing all-purpose and glass cleaner. Screw on your own toilet seat. Ignore the corpses of mosquitoes on the walls. And your own bed linen. Then it's great!!!

Very chill campground with nice pool, friendly staff and near good wineries if you want to increase your wine knowledge

MY FIRST AND LAST TIME AT CAMPING BELLA ITALIA! We spent a week in August at the Bella Italia campsite with 3 children with camper pitch accommodation... we felt uncomfortable right away...at the check in they all speak English even the registration sheets is in English...camping very dispersive...children's entertainment is never seen around and when you go to the theater they speak little Italian and my children had no pleasure to stay and dance given the songs little known in Italy...any game inside the camping is charged...any writing inside the campground is in English...I asked at the reception if I could let in 2 guests for a fee and they told me that visits were suspended the whole month of August because of full campground instead the others were entering without asking and without a bracelet both from the seafront and from the main entrance and the security didn't say anything... in the campsite of 30 hectares you can not move with electric scooters but with cars you can get around quietly ... most of the guests are foreigners and even the employees of both the bar and restaurant are not Italian and rude in certain circumstances ... I'm sorry because for all that we paid (very expensive) I thought a better treatment, definitely we will never come back! Change the name that of Italy there is very little ...

We rented a "fully equipped" tent for 1 week. When we arrived, the dishes were dirty, the toilets were dirty (and there wasn't much we could do about it, the toilet is black at the bottom), the bathroom cabinet was rotten (yes, yes...), the bottom of the toilet was rusty and the drains clogged regularly. A company came almost every day to pump out the drains. For a rental of just over 1,000 euros, that's a bit of a cough. The pool wasn't very clean and cloudy at the beginning of the week (you couldn't see 20 cm). Apart from that, the setting is nice and the entertainment team very welcoming. But overall, this campsite is oversold and not in line with the prices charged.

We were on site for 16 days. Our pitch was really nice and quiet and the plot was really big. You have to like the beach, bathing shoes are definitely recommended. But there is a meadow to lie on. Metal sunshade holders and a good hammer are recommended. There are many bookable activities on site. As the site is really large, bicycles or scooters are very practical. You can also get to the center easily by bike or alternatively by (expensive) train. The prices overall were okay. The food was good and tasty. Shopping facilities such as Lidl, Konsum or Plodine can be reached quickly by car. I would deduct one point for the service: unfortunately, some of the staff often seemed irritable and there were often unnecessary discussions. Laundry costs €7 - still within the green zone The sanitary facilities in the rear area were always clean, but they were getting on in years and the smell took some getting used to. Other washrooms were a bit more modern. But we will definitely be back.

This campsite has everything you could wish for: large, shady pitches, the river running alongside and the village of Saint-Astien with all its shops just over the pretty bridge you have to walk across, but what a disappointment! The sanitary facilities are in a deplorably poor state of hygiene: they are washed every day, but how quickly! The mirrors are not washed, there are no litter garbage cans in the toilets or at the washbasins, and 3/4 of the washbasins are clogged. Throughout your stay, you'll find the same things lying around. The same applies to the swimming pool, with its non-existent footbath, decomposing water fries and bits and pieces lying around that have been there all week. Faulty and dangerous electrical installations... The team, very young and certainly experienced, responds to our queries rather slowly, or even makes unacceptable excuses. In short, we won't be coming back.
